Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas has provided civil legal aid to the low-income community in north and west Texas for more than 50 years. Its mission is to ensure equal justice for people living in poverty through the provision of high quality legal representation and to further the ends of justice and improve the lives of low-income people through the rule of law. The organization provides services, including individual case service, group representation, community legal education and referrals to volunteer private attorney s and legal clinics for 100-plus Texas counties. Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas has nearly 90 lawyers and more than 100 support staff, with a projected annual budget of almost $11 million. It has branch offices in Abilene, Amarillo, Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, Lubbock, McKinney, Midland, Odessa, Plainview, San Angelo, Waxahachie, Wichita Falls and Weatherford, Texas.
