Provided by YP.comam generally a fairly laid back person. But this bothers me. I recently moved to Fort Worth and found this dentist through my insurance provider. I had seen my previous dentist 6 months prior with a "all is well" except for some slight gum swelling. I arrived at the iSmile office. The staff and building were fine. I then had several new xrays taken, only one of which was necessary (per my previous dentists report, as she had all the films just a medical record request away). They told me I had "gaps between my teeth and gums" which "required" a special deep cleaning. They proceeded to numb my whole mouth and performed what my prior dentist called an unnecessary procedure. (the films they had taken 6 months prior showed nothing close to needing the type of procedure I had done) SO my insurance company got hit up for $600, $130 of which I was on the hook for. So I would be a little cautious before using this dentist.

Provided by YP.comPlease do not use this Dentist. I went there the the Dentist said i had 4 cavities. I am 44 years old and have never had a cavity. Got a second opinion. I was right. I also have insurance and went in for a basic cleaning. dentist refused to give me a basic cleaning. Said he would do an extended cleaning first at a cost of $736.00 plus another $644 for the fillings. He already charged me over $300 for numerous xrays( Panoramic- 4 bitewings and $90 for the new patient office visit. This dentist does not care about your teeth , only about trying to get the most money from you so he can pay off all the brand new state of the art equipment he has in his office- NO CUSTMERS!!! Of course he is going to try to screw you. I looked at my x-rays ( being a former Dental investigator for the State of Texas in Austin for 13 years) DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE!!!!!
Hello Mr. M.G., Unfortunately, you was not satisfy with your visit and for that, I apologize. It is true, we refused to give you a basic cleaning, but you fail to mention why. YOU complain about YOUR gums being swollen and bleeds a lot when you brush.YOU complain about the odor coming for YOUR mouth. These are signs of active periodontal disease and the xrays confirmed it. We cannot UNDERdiagnose YOUR condition just so you can use your insurance. That is fraud and illegal. You should know that if you are really a former investigator as you claim. You claim that YOUR insurance is "the best in fort worth", it happens to be one of the worst. It is limited to simple cleanings and silver fillings. No major treatments are covered. YOUR insurance plan also require MANDATORY authorization, meaning we cannot start without their approval. You stated that we charge you "over $300 for numerous x-rays". This is NOT TRUE. We charge your insurance $80 for panoramic and $45 for bitewings, totaling $125. Look at your EOB, insurance portion $125, PATIENT PORTION $0! You stated we charged you "$90 for the new patient office visit". Once again, this is NOT TRUE. Look at your EOB, insurance was charged $65, Patient $0. Lastly, you stated we charge you $644 for the fillings. Again, this is NOT TRUE. Your copay is $232.40 for the fillings. We also received a second opinion, as you already know, was cleared of any wrongdoing. As a 44 yo, your time is better spent understanding YOUR insurance than name calling and fabrications.
