Ms. Carreras was appointed to represent my niece who was facing serious criminal charges. We were extremely grateful to have her representing our niece because she truly went above and beyond. Kara updated us immediately on every development of the case and even texted us from her hospital bed when her appendix ruptured! She truly cares for her clients and is someone you can trust to handle a tough case. She negotiated and got the sentence greatly reduced. Highly recommended!

I was referred to Brian Goza in August of 2015 after a situation that occurred that warranted me in hiring a defense attorney. I have never had this kind of need and I had no idea who to choose or how to search for a defense attorney. I was grateful for the referral and I had the exact opposite experience as the last review.

Brian is a polished professional and a fantastic listener. He offers great and sound advise, knows the law well and is a great negotiator. He fought hard for me and he wouldn't back down. There wasn't any pressure to settle, it was my decision after he presented me with the pros and cons of the situation. Brian even told me he would go to trial if necessary, and the choice was mine. He was always at court when he promised, he returned my calls and emails, and when he couldn't be at court, he would reschedule my time, or he would put me with his law partner Kara, who is also a dynamic and no-nonsense attorney. I often told Brian he was the only person I could trust and the only attorney I actually liked. I felt very protected by him and by Kara. They weren't going to let anything happen to me and I was extremely grateful. I hope I never need his help again, but I highly recommend him and his office to anyone who needs to feel like they have an advocate, anyone who needs to feel protected and anyone who needs an excellent defense attorney. As far as I am concerned, he was highly underpaid!

These guys were awesome! Pretty much got off they knew the court people and worked it. I was so happy I got em. They let me pay out so didn't hurt as much pockets.

ripped off. dont use. does not call back. does not care. takes a plea instead of fighting for you. bad communication

Brian and Cara are each very likable people. However, I highly recommend using another attorney! Court is usually at 9am and I've sat in the court room until at least 11:45, just waiting for one of them to arrive and make contact. Hiring them wasn't a problem.. upon any future attempt to contact them about my case, I haven't been able to reach them or receive a call back. I did receive an email one time though. It's just a very frustrating problem during a very stressful for me as it is. Also, was given false expectations and saw an unwillingness to help fight for my case to be dismissed and was forced to settle. Very disappointed and I hope no one else has to go through an experience like the one I had.
