Defective Crossover / No help to resolve problem

Cadillac SRX



I purchased 2014 SRX from Frank Kent Fort Worth on 12/30/13. Four months later the engine and transmission stared leaking oil and it has been in service 5 times with different issues replacing engine parts and interior. Since model is so new I'm worry what this may be leading up to? I always ask exactly what is the problem or proposed solution then there does not appear to be enough knowledge about service at local Cadillac dealers and the dealers take a week to fix due to parts availability. I'm really impressed with always in the shop.. Literally once every month!

I talk to Mr David Williamson (Sales Rep from Cadillac) and besides his rudeness he tried to blame me for manufacture defects, and also say that Cadillac do not guarantee their products. They do offer warranty for 50,000 miles! What this mean to me is that I have to be happy because they are paying for the repairs of course until the warranty expires and been ok taking my SRX every month for services. I did not purchase a Cadillac to have issues. I purchase a Cadillac because I what to feel secure and not to have problem at least for the first 3 years. If I would known I would just buy a used car and have the same issues.

Quality of the vehicle is terrible, I am disappointed with my SRX. I bought this car and have never disliked a car as much as this one. I will not recommend this car to anyone and I'm not pleased with Frank Kent because they sold me a defective SRX.

I had a great buying experience. Frank Kent staff were willing to compromise on my price of my car. In addition, they did not have this $1,000 protection package. They only did piping and tent to the new cars. The internet lady was also upfront how much these items cost. Since I knew the invoice price as well, then I was able to negotiate. Since, I came in already financed thru my credit union, the manager offered to check to see if I could get a lower rate. I did. American Honda was able to offer me 4.9%. I was able to do all of this, go talk to financing, clean out my old car out within about 2 hours. Please tell them the Dallas Lady sent you. It was worth the one hour and forty minute drive to get the red Honda Accord Coupe that I had been wanting for 9 months!
