HAD BUSINESS WITH THEM OVER THE YEARS. GUN REPAIR AND EQUIPMENT. ALL HAVE BEEN GOOD DEALINGS. ALWAYS HELPFUL.

I had my prized Browning Citori O/U there to shorten the stock by .500 " They did a perfect job. They were polite, helpful and very professional. I do not understand the negative reviews.

I had a new trigger put on a Colt Government .380 a long time ago. The job was so done so poorly I never gave them any more business. I am checking today to see if they are still in business and am surprised to see they are not gone. One star is a low as I can rate them and it is too much. When I complained about them beating up my frame and devaluing my gun just to switch out the trigger, they were rude and offered no compensation. Never have your firearms worked on here! Never waste your money here!

Disorganized gun snobs. Act as if they're doing you a favor letting you in their store. Wake up Elk Castle, your reputation is catching up with you.

Went to Elk Castle to sight in 3 rifles today, upon arriving I went inside and spoke to the range master ( short guy with glasses) I asked him if there was room for me to sight in 3 rifles and he said sure come on on. I then went back to the truck and got everything out that I need and packed it all inside. Once I was back in the range are he then told me that the rifle range was closed so I asked him why he just told me face to face 3 minutes ago that I could sight the rifles in and then he started stuttering and stumbling over his words just trying to come up with something to say. He then stated that he misunderstood the entire conversation that we just had about sighting in my rifles. Of course there was no apology or anything. Either these guys at Elk Castle just don't know what they are talking about or are completely incompetent. I will not be going back to Elk Castle hello Shoot Smart!!!

I advise my friends if they need a gunsmith to go elsewhere, otherwise, Elk Castle is fine for shooting practice. I dropped my gun off 3 weeks ago and was told it would be 4-6 wks to repair. No parts to order, just smoothing the feed ramp. I called to check on the repairs and now I'm told it will be 6-8 wks longer! And on top of that he tells me that he told me that when I dropped it off! He did not or I wouldn't have left it there because I need it for my CHL class. Not, 3 weeks later I am picking it up to take somewhere else & after wasting 3 weeks I hope I can find another place! I will not advise my friends to use Elk Castle, I cannot find integrity in their word.

I would not let these people work on a BB-gun!

My gun was in for repairs at Elk Castle. They told me it would be approximately six weeks. Ten weeks later, I stopped in to see how much longer the repair process would be.



The man at the counter advised they were still waiting for parts. I inquired how much longer, my gun had been there ten weeks. The employee could not give me a time limit. I asked if he could ask the gunsmith and I was advised that gunsmith was working on two other projects and did not have time to talk to me. They could not even tell me if the parts had been ordered.



Very poor customer service.
