My Experience is that this is a dishonest place. I've been here before and got spot price the 1st time here. My 2nd time Gold this day spot price was $1,225 oz. for Gold. They Bought my gold at $1,058 oz. Didn't have time to shop around so i let it go. Will never come back again. If reading this....they will greatly under cut you, find somewhere else to sell your product...Hope this helps others.

This place is a ripoff for the people that know what precious metals are worth. Word of advice, go to 7th St Gold and Silver before considering making a deal with Cowtown Gold & Silver. I'm not willing to get a lower price for my metals just so they can have a fancy looking shop. Again, go to 7th St. Gold & Silver. You wont regret it..

I was willing to pay $2 over spot for 110 oz. of silver. The guy locked up his cabinet quicker than i could blink. He wanted $5 over spot! Every other coin shop and/or gold and silver exchange charges $1.50 over spot. I guess Cowtown doesnt understand metals. The price changes!!! He told me he bought the silver rounds for more than i was willing to pay. Tough. Welcome to pm's. Ended up going to Dallas gold and silver exchange in Euless and got a great deal at $1.50 over spot. Cowtowns loss!! Dont waste your time on Cowtown, Go to one of the many other shops!!!!!

I went in to sell a Sterling silver bowl, before going in I weighed my silver it weighed 3.3 troy ounces, silver was @ roughly 36.6 dollars a ounce, I didn't expect a $ for $ price, but what I did expect was to be treated fairly. A woman behind the counter weighs it, ( I'll give you $35 dollars, I call her on it asking why if silver is $36.6 a ounce and theres 3 ounces is that the best price she could give me, and her answer was yes, I walked out went to 411 on my phone and found someone who was willing to be fair and @ least give me $23.7 dollars a ounce, It is THE GOLD STORE EXCHANGE @ 2901 Fair Dr, off Western center Blvd. & the # is 817-232-1245 well worth the drive.

Great and friendly people. I was paid more for my coins than two other shops near them. I would definitely go back and recommend them.

You people must not know the price of gold, I came in with a 66.4 gm 14kt bracelet and was offered a very low price. The Guy must not have known I knew my gold.

Wow... I had no idea how much I would get for my gold that I had just sitting in my drawer. I had not used any of it for a long time. Some of it was broken and the staff at Cowtown really helped me and paid me what I thought was a very fair price for what I had. Now I can go shopping for Christmas. Great place to sell jewelry. Very friendly staff made me feel great about selling my jewelry. I highly recommend them!!!! PS, love the way the store is decorated.....
