Very happy with doing business here. Service was fast, friendly, and professional I will recommend this place to anyone who misses good old fashioned customer service with quality workmanship.

I was rear ended and they went over the car with a fine tooth comb, and I appreciate that. They keep me in formed on what needed to be done and where they were at and they took there time to do it right.

This shop and their personnel is very professional. Don Mundell is just super nice and keeps you informed on the progress of the repairs which is unusual for auto repair shops. I would highly recommend this shop . Made my repairs to my car a walk in the park!!!!

This is an update to my review below, which was written and posted in late November, 2015.

I received a call from Robert, the new office manager at the Collision Maxx North Richland Hills location a few days after I was turned away. He told me that they had located my misfiled paperwork and that they would be happy to replace my broken door handle, free of charge. He said he would order the new part and call me when it came in. I got a call two days later and was told the part had arrived and I was asked to bring my car in and drop it off. Robert told me that he anticipated my repair to be completed at the end of the next day, (paint drying being the subjective.)

He called me just when he said he would and told me that my repair was complete and my car was ready to be picked up. I didn't have a ride, so Robert offered to come pick me up. I have to admit, their body and paint man does an exceptional job at matching up paint. I believe that my initial experience was simply a misunderstanding, and I would recommend Collision Maxx to those in need of paint and body work.

We took our 1999 Buick Park Avenue to the newer Collision Maxx location at 6404 N. Davis Blvd. In North Richland Hills and dealt with B J, who manages both locations. We have a door handle that you lift up to open. The metal catch had broken off, so the door wouldn't open. The fix was simple-remove the inner door panel, remove the old handle, replace with (what I was led to believe was) a new GM door handle, which had to be painted. They completed the job on March 19, 2015. I paid $263 and left with my “lifetime warranty” in hand.

The same “GM” handle they replaced, broke again in mid November 2015. This is a one man shop. He came outside, gave it a jiggle and told me “Yup, it broke again.” I left a copy of the original receipt with him, and he led me to believe that they would order another handle and call me when it came in. I got a call three days later while I was out of town. When I got back to town on Nov. 30th, I went to their office. The guy behind the desk was told by B J that they couldn't repair my vehicle. I asked why not, since it's a GM part, I'm sure they'll replace it. He said he didn't know where they got the part. I then asked him what if I pay for labor? He told me “we don't want the job.” I turned and as I was walking out the door, he said “We're sorry.” I thought to myself that he had finally said something that I agree with.

Collision Maxx has great people working for them and they do great work. My friend 2015 Mustang was damaged very bad and it's like nothing ever happened.

Used the location at 6404 N. Davis in NRH. The negative reviews are correct. The owner Mike seems like a good guy but he has some real turds working for him. Repairs were not done correctly, interior of my truck was filthy, and Robert does not give good customer service- he is dishonest nor does he do the Quality Control work he should. He comes across as a good guy but don't be fooled- once he has your vehicle he's a different person. Took 7 business days to repair a minor dent in the rear quarter panel of a Silverado and replace 1/2 of the plastic bumper cap. Here's a tip for Collision Maxx and/or their competition for handling fender bender customers and the like- get a credit card on hold from the vehicle owner (we're already on the hook if the insurance company refuses to pay so what's the difference), order the parts/supplies, then when they arrive schedule a technician to complete the repairs at a coordinated time with the vehicle owner.

Great Service! They covered my deductible, and when i picked up my car it looked brand new again. I will definitely be using Collison Maxx in the future if I ever again need the services of an auto body shop!

Horrible!!! They "repaired" my truck in a week! the paint job was Horrible and there was HAIR under the clear coat! The manager Justin asked me to leave it another day so they could fix it. It looked worst after they "fixed" it!!! I took it back again at 8am and they said it would be done by 530pm.... I just (2:20pm) drove by the shop and my truck hadn't moved! I went in and asked them how's everything going, they said great, then I told him my truck is parked in the same spot. Justin storms out the office saying he's going to kill him if he hasn't started. OF COURSE, they hadn't!!! So he promised me again, it'll be done by 530pm which means sanding down the hood (F250) repainting it, letting it dry, replacing a part that doesn't fit properly (which I don't believe they've even ordered yet,) and repairing the f**ked up paint job on the fender... all in 3hrs!!! Do not use this shop, it's not worth the headache! Justin is a nice guy, but this shop is full of SH*T!!! If I hadn't drove by and seen my truck still sitting outside, they wouldn't have touched it today!

LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Was in 2 accidents and BJ and the rest of his staff took amazing care of everything for me, even when someone hit my car with there door, my car looks just as good as new! I referred my grandma to them and would refer anyone to them quickly! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
