If you care about your loved one, please do not take them to any location of this joke of assisted living. Their health will be in jeapordy. My brother-in-law was in there for 6 months, and he lost at least 10 pounds while there...weight he could not afford to lose. They also put their patients on sleep aids, whether they need them or not. Everything you will be told upon them entering this facility is lies. Their idea of activities is going to Wal Mart once a week. We would get him every other weekend and he would stink to high heaven. The so called director, Chris, tried to play this off because he smoked. Yeah, smoking causes a shirt to almost stand up on its own. If the residents don't like what they make to eat, they don't eat. On three separate occasions when we went there, no one was in the house watching the residents. The "nurse" was at her house behind the property on a "break". They must take a lot of "breaks". It looks like we are going to have to get the police involved to get the walker back that the state provided him. My brother-in-law is in the mid stages of dementia and my wife is his power of attorney, yet Chris had him sign a paper turning over the money left on his books when he had a nursing home pick him up WITHOUT CONTACTING US TO HIS WHEREABOUTS. Do NOT put your loved one at this place. They are liars and thieves. They provide NO services to take care of residents...you know...little things like bathing, coffee, haircuts, nails trimmed...anything that should be provided by assisted living. A horrible place for anyone to live, much less people that need help on a day to day basis. They should be shut down.
