surgery

I decided to write this review after reading the negitive reviews. I had a procedure done here on my face. These guys were very professional and the results were outstanding. I had a basil cell on my cheek and that is scary as it gets for someone to operate on your face. You can not even tell i was cut on. Most likley the bad reviews came from the snob crowd there to that gets proceadures done for fun. If you have a serious issue I will stand behind these guys 100 pecent.

DONT GO THERE!!!! YOU WILL BE...

DONT GO THERE!!!! YOU WILL BE DISAPOINTED AND LEAVE ANGRY!!!

First of all the office is VERY UNORGANIZED. The office and owner's motto is QUANTITY OR QUALITY. There are NO MD's there, all you get is a nurse practioner or physician assistant because all the MD's are no longer there or will only see Cosmetic patients..

Anytime a "VIP" patient goes in or has appointment, believe me they will put them before you, even if you have been waiting longer (AND YOUR TOTAL WAITING PERIOD TO BE SEEN WILL BE OVER AN HOUR OR IN MOST CASES MORE THAN AN HOUR).

I am most definately requesting a copy of my records and will LOOK FOR ANOTHER DERMATOLOGIST...

poor customer service - very unresponsive!

I was first treated for a topical nail infection at the Center for Skin in 2008. Service at that time was satisfactory and the nurse practitioner prescribed a topical cream which quickly treated the infection.

In 2011, I returned to the Center for Skin with a recurrence of the nail infection. I scheduled an appointment for 8am which is presumably one of the first appointments of the day; however, I waited for 50 minutes before I was called to the holding room (and then another 20-30 minute wait until I saw the nurse practitioner!!). I wasn't annoyed at the time because I just really wanted to have the infection treated.

Although I requested the same topical ointment that treated the condition three years back, they prescribed three different ointments (costing $100+ with insurance) and NONE of these worked. I called back three weeks after the appointment to let them know that the ointments they prescribed were not helpful. I left a voicemail with the receptionist requesting that the nurse call back and hopefully prescribe the original ointment that I had been treated with in 2008.

I never received a call back. I called again and left a voicemail with the receptionist. This time I heard back from the nurse practitioner's assistant who told me that she would check with the nurse practitioner and either call me back or submit the prescription to my pharmacy. AGAIN, no call back and no prescription filled. Three days later, I followed up and again had to leave a note with the receptionist. No call back, No surprise. The following day, I called again and FINALLY received a call back that they would not provide a prescription that would actually treat the infection.

It wouldn't have been a problem if they told me they couldn't fill the prescription to begin with; however, it SHOULD NOT take three weeks plus to get a response!

Disorganized office, inconsistent service-- Better medi-spas out there, don't settle

Overall:

Poor desk service

Inaccurate billing

Inconsistent communication

**There are too many spas in Dallas to settle for poor customer service.**

I first visited the Dallas office of CSCD because I got a gift card at a charity auction. I selected a service and had a good experience with the aesthetician. I then received a call that the office could not verify the gift card. I offered to pay the balance but they said it was fine and I could continue receiving services.

A few weeks later, I received a bill in the mail for over $400. I complained in writing to the center and they blamed a clerical error and removed the charges.

On my recent (and clearly, final) visit, I came in before normal hours at a time I thought I had agreed upon with the aesthetician. I signed in and waited patiently while being ignored by the desk staff. After waiting 30 minutes, I found someone to help me. She apologized and said I would be called to reschedule the appointment. I left my number and the center has my number on file

After three days of waiting, I gave up on someone calling me back. I did call to inform the center why I would not return and I was told that I had the time wrong on my appointment. However, if that were the case the woman at the desk would have informed me when I came in and rescheduled me then.

In a hurry to go home?

The office is pretty, clean, and the front office staff is professional. Unfortunately, the nurse practitioner I saw was unfriendly and not very helpful. She wrote the prescription for the topical treatment I've been on for years, which was good. However, when I asked her for a recommendation of a skin cleanser, she told me I needed to schedule an appointment with one of their aesthetician. An AESTHETICIAN? What good is a dermatology office if they can't recommend a cleanser or face lotion for my type of skin? Anyway, I never got an answer and I won't be back. She was obviously uninterested in my needs and her attitude was curt and sort of rude.
