I went to this restaurant tonight 12/19/2015 with my parents and we walked out humiliated, angry, and with metallic taste in our mouths. We initially ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Biryani. The Shrimp Biryani was mushy and wet. We have always had a dry biryani from all other indian restaurants, so we weren't prepared to eat a squishy dish like that. Without even taking a bite, we asked to return the dish and ordered something else instead. My father said, "this is not a biryani," and proceeded to order sheikh Kabob from the menu (to be clear, we also ordered extra naans and carrot Halwa to make the price difference for returning the their "biryani"). When the waitress took the biryani back to the kitchen, the Owner/chef came out and charged at us. He yelled at us and said, "what do you mean this is not a biryani?"He just went on and on for a good 40 seconds yelling at us and convincing us that this is a biryani. It was embarrassing. He had no etiquette, and there was another customer sitting listening to us getting humiliated. It ruined out dinner and we sat there mortified. We left the restaurant as soon as we could. I didn't even want to take the left overs, but my parents convinced me to take it, so it wouldn't be trashed.

As if that wasn't enough, the food was tasteless. I have been to plenty of restaurants in DFW and this was by far one of the worst. I would highly recommend going to Al Markaz in Carrollton or Tandoor in Arlington. The staff treats you with utmost respect, and if you don't enjoy a dish, they are be happy to make you something else.

I will never come back here and I will make sure none of my friends visit here either.

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding. The customer service was great.

We took a group of 10 people there last year and experienced the same kind of service mentioned by the one-star reviewer. We arrived 30 minutes before they closed for lunch and specifically asked if we could still have the buffet. They were very agreeable but at the time the buffet was to close, they began asking if we were done, though we still had food on our plates. They also told us the buffet was closed several times. They eventually told us to get our last plate of food. We largely ignored them because we had called ahead and driven so far to get there and eventually they began to feed their family/friends who had arrived for lunch just after the closing time. The food is exceptional, but don't arrive late!

I would and do highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends. Pleasedisregard the 1 star commentary and try for yourself. I have a feeling that personstepped in the door 5 min prior to closing. The food is North Indian and is excellent. I have tried almost all Indian restaurants in Fort Worth, Irving, Planoand Dallas and I'll be the first to say that hands down they prepare NorthIndian cuisine GREAT!!!! Also, anyone I have ever recommended has given ravereviews. My Dad even plans his visits according to the day of the week because the buffet rotates entrees every day. I hope this has helped. Dishes I like areSaag Panner, Chole, Dal Maharani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken,Naan, Mango Lassi, etc.

Excellent, authentic Indian food. Friendly owners. Diverse, very tasty lunch buffet. Several co-workers and I have lunch there regularly (once every week or two). We are always greeted by name and offered some of their VERY good hot Chai tea. The owner is friendly and accomodating, even to our sometimes large groups (8-10 people). Relaxed, casual atmosphere, sometimes a bit loud, but very easy to lose a lunch hour without even realizing it! Highly recommended. Be sure to try the spinach dish ("saag paneer").

Very good food - AWFUL service. I have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant before. My friend and I (along with my 1 year old daughter) had lunch there this past weekend. Everything started out ok as we got our food and started to eat. My friend asked the host (owner?) what the spinach dish was called - he simply refused to answer, evading the question. I think he didn't understand. Then, he came up to us and asked us if we were done eating (we both still had food on our plates and forks in our hands!). We said we were not done and he said they would be closing soon so if we wanted more, we had to do it right then. Ok, so we went back to the buffet to get more. We proceeded to eat the rest of our food and he came back several times, asking if we were done, trying to take our plates, which still had food on them. When we said we were not done, he said "we're closed". We immediately paid our bill, but then he still harassed us with "we're closed" while the staff sla
