A family friend recommended Bliss to me and I'm so thankful she did! It was easy to make an appointment and the entire staff was helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I wasn't sure which type of style I wanted and the consultant patiently and honestly helped me narrow down my choices. I found my dream dress along with a beautiful veil to go with it.

This place is AMAZING! I messed up my appointment time but they were so polite and got me right in! My consultant was amazing as well! This was my first stop on trying on dresses. I went in there with a picture from their website of the dress and style I was looking for and she and I picked out that dress and a ton of other dresses that matched what I wanted. But the first dress I tried on (which is the one I had a picture of) was THE DRESS! I had 4 other appointments at other salons to try on and I needed look no further! Loved their service, expertise, and prices were are perfect and exactly what I was looking for! If you are looking for an experience and not just a dress then this is the place for you!

We had an amazing experience at Bliss It was the FIRST bridal salon I went to & found the dress of my dreams. The people there are wonderful and helped me find my dream dress. I would highly recommend Bliss Bridal Salon to anybody for their wedding dress!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was not looking forward to shopping for a wedding dress because I knew it would be a long, drawn out process of trying on multiple dresses at countless stores. I am fortunate that my first stop was at Bliss Bridal Salon. Making an appointment online was as simple as clicking a mouse. As I walked into the store, I immediately felt a sigh of relief. I realized that I had been dreading it for no reason and I felt a sense of comfort. The environment was relaxed and my consultant, Wendy, was very helpful. She assisted me in choosing my dress options. She listened to what I wanted in a dress. She gave me her suggestions, but she respected my wishes. I had narrowed it down to two dresses and she suggested that I think about it overnight. A few days later I made my choice and figured that would be the end of it until my dress arrived. However, the desire of Bliss Bridal Salon and Wendy to make my wedding day perfect didn’t end there. Wendy helped me find just the right shoes and sash. My overall experience with Bliss Bridal Salon and Wendy was FABULOUS. The ladies who work in the store were accommodating, helpful, and put me at ease the second I walked into the store. I would recommend Bliss Bridal Salon to anyone who is looking for a wedding gown or even a bridesmaid gown.

After all of the bridal shops ...

After all of the bridal shops that I have visited, Bliss bridal has by far been the WORST!!!! I never write reviews and this place was bad enough to take the time to write a review. I have been treated very good at every single bridal shop I have been to in the DFW area, and this is the only one that I have experienced a sales person that shouldn't be working at a bridal shop, and had an attitude. Also when I called, my experience on the phone with them was rude as well, that should have been my first sign and a red flag not to go in there. I always treat everyone I encounter with kindness and respect, and that is how I expect to be treated. I am very surprised that this place is actually open. It takes a certain kind of person to help brides find their gown and my experience at Bliss bridal made me feel gross.

Bliss Bridal was the best shop...

Bliss Bridal was the best shopping experience the moment we arrived we were immediately attended to by great customer reps. The lady was always very attentive to my needs and helped my pick the best wedding gown. They made me feel like the most important person in the room and picked up on my style immediately which really sped up the process. The whole experience was truly wonderful.

I had such high hopes when my mother made an appointment here, but what a huge disappointment it was. This is not a place for brides if they want to positive experience. The woman were rude and snooty from the moment we walked through the door. Not sure what we did to deserve such treatment, but we decided to leave without trying a thing. What a waste of time.

If you are looking for Bliss, ...

If you are looking for Bliss, you won't find it at this store. My sisters and I were all excited about shopping for my wedding dress at Bliss after reading the reviews, but left the store confused when we didn't receive the service or attention we were expecting from the reviews we read at my appointment.



The appointment wasn't like the others we had been to where I received a robe and met with the consultant to discuss the style of dress I was looking for and my budget. At Bliss the woman looked me up and down and said that there were only a few dresses that would fit my body style and that due to my wedding being less than 7 months away that there were even fewer dresses she had that could be ordered and in before the wedding.



Not wanting to waste our time, we asked which dresses could we see and she showed us two, neither were worth even trying on, so we left.

Anyone can get a great review when things go according to plan ... it's when things fall apart that a business is put to the real test, and in our situation, Bliss was an epic fail on all accounts!



I wouldn't recommend buying a hair clip from Bliss after what they put us through, which was a complete shock seeing they received Best of 2010 ... they completely choked when it came to working with us to resolve an issue that could have had a completely different outcome, had the owner had a better attitude and people skills.



The owner is completely unprofessional. When we spoke she tried to correct me and called me 'sweetie'. She was unwilling to resolve the issue she placed us in when the jacket we ordered to wear with my wedding dress was supposed to arrive at the end of Feb, but didn't come in until 8 days before my wedding and arrived 2 sizes too small!



Not only did the owner not make an effort to track down another jacket when the one we ordered ran late, but they went as far as to tell me I was the one being difficult and blamed me for ordering the jacket too small.



Mind you, the dress and veil we ordered through Bliss arrived in the time and were beautiful, but the jacket just showed the owner’s true colors and caused more stress the last 3 weeks leading up to our wedding that easily could have been avoided had they done the diligence to:

1) Communicate. When the original due date for the jacket came and went – call! I was the one calling them asking on status after of few days of no word. The 2nd due date came/went, again I was the one following up after a few days when I never received a call. The 3rd due date came/went ... again I was the one calling when no attempts to contact me or my mother were made!

2) Apologize. Bliss never even whisper so much of a hint of an apology for putting us through the stress and worry of not having a jacket that fits in time for my wedding.

3) Fix the issue. When the jacket arrived 8 days before the wedding, not only was the label sewn in upside down, but there was a defect in the overlay material.



The owner indignantly refunded 50% of the cost of the jacket - but refused to cover alteration costs. She even threatened to keep the jacket and leave us to find a replacement 8 days before my wedding! Neither my mother, our alterations lady, nor I could believe the behavior. She even went as far as to try and turn the table to say I had an attitude from the moment I came into the salon months back when we spent $1,500+ on a dress, veil, and jacket.



Now the bridesmaid's dresses I ordered through another salon who accidentally mis-measured my bridesmaids and all their tops/jackets came in too small, so the salon picked up the bill for the alterations.



Bliss did not handle this situation this way - in fact, they blamed me for ordering the jacket too small (after all, isn't the responsibility of a salon employee to inform the customer of the difference between street sizes vs bridal sizes and measure you to ensure the right size is ordered? Just sayin' ... because this was not done when the jacket order was placed). It appears easier for Bliss to avoid responsibility and deflect blame on the customer for their short comings rather than follow what should be a standard protocol when placing orders.



In the end, I took the jacket to the miracle-worker that is the alterations woman who handled my bridesmaid's tops and spent an additional $70 and she some how managed to make a size 12 out of a size 8 with less than a .25" seam allowance!!



If you're the type of person who doesn't experience issues when buying clothes then Bliss is for you, but God forbid you run into a problem and the item you order runs late, doesn't arrive, or comes in smaller than expected ... If/when it does - good luck working w/ Bliss. Don't expect them to go out of their way to work with you, offer an apology – or even contact you.

Pushing and uncomfortable

I visited this shop several times and thought it was just the way you were suppose to be treated. But the girls are pushing and make you feel very uncomfortable if nothing blows you away. also they try to tell you what you want before you make up your mind. Ohhh and to make things worse they come in the dressing rooms with you to try on the gown. I have been to lots of very high end bridal boutiques and none of them did that. It was uncomfortable and odd. Try to stay away if you can. De Ma Fille is much better, and they make you feel like you have known them for years. you dont have to put up with the behavior of this boutique. YOU deserve better.
