Wish I could this place a negative star! After taking in a new, off the floor, defective golf cart battery that we bought under a month ago, we were informed that it would take 24 hours to try and charge it to verify that it was in fact bad. I came back with my husband 24 hours later to check on the battery and was informed that the battery was currently sitting at the same level of charge (25%). We told the employee that the charge had not changed and we would like to get a new one. She called her manager, Lars Christensen, who was at the Lake Worth location. He told me that it would have to charge for 2-3 days. I told him that was not what we had been told and in fact, in talking to another location, we had been told 24 hours by that manger as well. He gave me a line about not having a strong enough charger. We argued over this and what a good store manager should do to handle this situation. My husband asked for the franchise owners name, which Lars slowly gave me (Wayne Merritt). My husband tracked down the owners number and talked to him about the situation. He stated that charging the battery should take about 24-48 hours (not 2-3 days). He then admitted that he had a battery that was still trying to charge after four days. Both the manager (Lars) and the owner (Wayne) proceeded to give my husband and I both the run around and could not have care less that they were practicing shady business practices. We will never shop from any Batteries Plus Bulbs again! Now lets see how long it takes to get our battery replace!

This is a great new store. The associates are super helpful. These guys have batteries and light bulbs for everything. On my first visit, I bought a cell phone battery and a laptop battery, they even put them in for me to be sure they were the right batteries. Wow!
