In 1987, Dr. Mark O'Gorman opened his first veterinary practice in Fort Worth, Texas. To meet the needs of his clients and patients, through the years, Dr. O'Gorman has added two business partners, associate veterinarians, support staff and has grown to be a multi-location veterinary service provider. In 1992, Animal Hospital of Park Glen (on Basswood Boulevard) was built and began providing veterinary care to pets. To this day, our Park Glen location continues to provide wellness, preventive and medical care to the pets in the surrounding area. In the summer of 2007, a sister practice to the Park Glen location, Alliance Animal Health Center on Heritage Trace Parkway opened. Both locations are full service veterinary hospitals that serve the Fort Worth, Keller, Haltom City, Watauga, Saginaw, Roanoke and North Richland Hills areas of north Texas.

There is way too much up-selling. It was difficult to distinguish the really needed procedures, from the up-selling. Plus, I believe they are overpriced.

I have been taking my 3 dogs to this clinic for 9 years. Everyone has always been so friendly until one day recently. One of the dogs was my mothers that I inherited when she passed away 7 years ago. He is a 15 year old chihuahua that has always medical issues. He has always suffered from allergies and skin/ear infections. I have spent thousands of dollars on medical care and medication. He cannot be on medication all the time so the vet has given me other ideas to try and clear these infections up. I have contemplated the heart wrenching decision of puting him to sleep for awhile. I don't feel he is in pain and still eats like a horse so I don't feel its time yet. I have to live with the decision so I have to be comfortable that I made the right one. I took him in to get his nails clipped. I told the tech that he had a skin infection and she might want to wrap him in a towel. She turned to me and snapped "he is miserable". I told her that I was giving him benydrl like the vet told me to and she said "that doesn't work". I told her that I was battling the decision of puting him to sleep and she barked "you need to start thinking about him and stop thinking about yourself!" I was floored and speechless. She took him and grunted as she took him in the back. When she walked back, she had a real discusted look on her face. She angrily said "he stinks because his ear is oozing puss". I clean his ears daily and put drops in them like the doctor told me to. She put my dog down and stormed out of the room. She didn't know his history. She didn't know that I am doing what the doctor told me to or that I treat his ear everyday. She knew nothing about us and I left feeling like the worst person in the world. I just took him in to get his nailed clipped, not be judged!! I left thinking that I had no choice to put him to sleep even though the doctor says he is doing fine. The way she treated me and the judgement in her voice was not only unprofessional but unacceptable and just plain mean! I wrote the clinic and complained, but of course, they didn't even extend me the common courtesy of a response. I will NEVER come back to this clinic EVER again. I have found another vet that actually treats me like the customer. PS..my dog is doing just fine.

I have gone to these vets for ...

I have gone to these vets for 23 years and moved as they moved into new facilities. I have had many animals that two of the vets went to extreme effort with great expertise and provided superior diagnosis that an expensive specialized vet in Dallas couldn't diagnos and saved my child's animal. All few complaints I had were always resolved by the office manager. I found the office manager extremely responsive to an email. Look on the site for it.

No. They are way Overpriced. If you want to pay inflated fees you can go to Banfield pet hospital. I was first quoted $157. I asked why is it so high for the shot? She replied Oh, this is for micro chipping too..." I don't need micro chipping. I only asked for the cost of the shots. She then quoted $110 for 2 Kittens FVRCP-C Shots! I then called Litsey Animal Hospital off Denton Highway and they quoted me only $19 per kitten. The girl I spoke to was nicer and more knowledgeable too. See the huge price difference there?
