The assistant manager here, Heidi, is rude, unprofessional, and will screw you over in any way she possibly can. Don't walk away from this place, RUN. She make it her personal mission to make your life as miserable as she possibly can.

There is only one trash compactor for the entire complex & it breaks down, alot. Trash is left on the compactor steps, & a mountain of garbage collects making it impossible to reach the dumpster.
The gates work half the time & if accidentally held open there is no free parking. Washer & dryer were broken when we moved in & weren't repaired till month 3. Our A/C broke in month 2 & rained condensation down on the unit below us (sorry neighbor!) Ceiling leaks in bedroom, living room, & patio ceiling outside every time it rains, despite maintenance painting on top of the leak, rain still gets through. We've lived in worse, but this place is too expensive for everything to be breaking down.

I've been living a total of 3 years & am on my 4th year. The old mngmt company royally screwed over this complex. It's become ghetto & neighbors are less than pleasant to be around. Dog poop everywhere, the trash compactor is always full & if it's not people just throw their trash on the ground anyways. The pools are consistently closed & when they are open there's so many people there you don't even want to go to the pool. Many kids f/other apartments come & go to the pool. I've reported pit bull sightings & some not even on leashes. I've reported every week for the last 10 weeks that our neighbor has trash on their balcony and there's 12 bags of trash on their balcony. The new apt staff is incredibly nice & extremely pleasant to deal with. Their work is cut out for them & I don't think they can turn it around. Would I recommend Amesbury Court to live? No. The prices are ok but I don't like the atmosphere. You get what you pay for & as soon as I can afford better we will be leaving.

I've lived here at amesbury court for a total of 60 days. In those 60 days, I've had my roof leak, mold in my utility room twice, the racks in my closet had fallen off the wall due to the roof leaking, the general manager Amanda has hung up in my face when confronted about these issues. I've had to call corporate up numerous times to get simple things done. My air conditioner has gone out twice. When I moved in NOTHING was clean, my carpet was filthy and there was pet hair in my bathroom. Currently (6/17/15) my roof is still leaking. They were suppose to fix this over a month ago. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The general and assistant manager are both rude and its clear that they're not really concerned about getting preventative repairs done. I haven't been here very long, but it's pretty safe to say that I will not be renewing my lease.
