Started out great then totally dropped the ball. Company taxes left in forfeiture because Chuck would not return phone calls and emails. Will not use again.

Al is absolutely the best . He and his team are experts in their field. I trust them with all my tax needs & I trust Him as a friend. Thank youCC

I agree with the older posts. My phone calls were not returned, and I was in the middle of a serious tax situation. I have a unique case, and decided to find two Jewish brothers in Beverly Hills to redo what Monica (I think that's her name) screwed up. After my new CPA redid my 2012 taxes I got money back whereas Al Pugh and Co had me paying thousands. If you're self employed go elsewhere. If you want to be able to hear your accountant's voice go elsewhere. If you want someone who cares go elsewhere. Maybe they're too busy and have taken on more clients than they can handle. Quality service or quantity Al Pugh and Co. Remember that.

Poor communication. Won't return emails or phone calls for important questions on audits and returns.

Al Pugh is a great CPA and can save you money on your taxes. However, getting hold of him is not so easy. He is rarely in the office and his associates never call back after leaving multiple messages. I have had to go to his office in order to talk to someone after they refuse to return my call after leaving multiple messages. Dont let any of his associates prepare your taxes. I let Chad to my 2009 taxes and have had nothing but problems every since. First the proper forms were not done, then when he did do them, he didnt do them properly. As a result I have been dealing with an IRS audit for over 8 months. In short, Al can save you money, but expect horrible customer service.

I am a small business owner and work from home. I used another accountant for several years before my husband died, and his fee was often way more than the actual tax I paid. Mr. Pugh came highly recommended by a friend, and I have been delighted with the service he provides - and, the cost is much lower. He redid two years of taxes from the first accountant and I got money back both times!

Al Pugh is the man! Much better than Turbo Tax or any other do-it-yourself program. I'll be a customer for life!

I always did my taxes online because I figured that was the easiest, cheapest way to do it. I started going to Al 3 years ago because a friend highly recommended him. He not only got us a huge refund, but redid the previous 2 years taxes and got me more more money back. We were audited the 2nd year we were with him, and he took care of that too, no problem. I highly recommend Al Pugh.

I'm self employed and did my taxes myself for several years. I went to Al based on a recommendation and not only did he save me a ton on this years taxes, he went back and saved me a ton on the last 2 years as well.
