Microtech Welding Corp was founded in 1997 and Incorporated in early 1998. This operation is a departure from the traditional welding shops. Instead of an industrial style welding shop, we operate more like a laboratory. We are experiencing increasing growth in the biomedical industry. We also service the automotive manufacturing and aerospace industries. Microtech Welding Corp is dedicated to high quality and leading edge technologies in the metal joining processes. Our founder and president, Robert ( Bob ) Christman, has been a welder most of his life. When he learned about micro welding in the late 1990's he decided it was time to open up his own service shop. We have grown into a successful and multi-faceted welding service company since then and from a one man shop to the ten employees we have today.
