We have used Al's for years and have observed several things:
1. They are competent mechanics. They always make sound repairs and fix things the right way. No shortcuts or shoddy work.
2. They are very good at diagnosing problems. I have taken one of our son's cars there for a second opinion and they determined the real problem which, by the way, was a much cheaper fix than what the first mechanic quoted.
3. Their pricing is fair. The only disagreements I have ever had with them over the years was that they were not charging me enough. Its hard to be believe, but I swear it is true. I have never said that about any other repair service or shop in my life.
4. Most important. They are honest. I totally trust them to do the right thing. Its like a breath of fresh air talking to them. I have great respect for Mike and everybody that works there as good and decent people.
Finally, just so you know, I have no ties to this shop. They did not ask for a review.
