Great pizza always hot fresh & affordable the only thing is they dont deliver but other than that grade A ;)

It's been here forever. Well at least since 1964. As kids in the 60's we use to eat here often. It was the only place in the area to eat in a hurry other than McD's on Deleware & Burger King at 7th & Orange AveToday's order was seafood. Liked their oysters, clam strips and fried fish. The owners are hands on people and run the place themselves. Great people to talk with but I have to say in order to give an honest review that the cole slaw needs work. The chunks are too big and it needs more mayo and maybe a touch if vinegar. Keep the sugar.

Didn't want to do a review on Votino's because I wanted to keep it a secret place that wouldn't be packed to the door when I got there. Anyway, here goes my secret. Ever since the early 60's I've been eating here. It's the gondola that keeps me coming back. Granny use to serve use with her not so friendly approach but it was all in fun. She meant no harm and it made the wait worth it. But we did like the abuse. Anyway, Granny has since passed away but the excellence in preparing the gondola continues. Early 2009 was a bad year for Votino's since they suffered a fire that damaged just about everything in the place. Mr. Votino said he had just renewed his insurance policy two weeks before the fire and his agent warned him he was underinsured. Who thinks they are going to need insurance, he said. The fire ended up costing him about $60,000 out of pocket in addition to what his insurance covered. But they're back in operation once again. Remember them when they were on Orange ave?
