I entered Victory Layne Chevrolet in Fort Myers in Dec. 2009 to buy a new vehicle for my daughter. I am a retired policemen and a gentlemen very capable of buying with cash for the car of my choice. I entered the showroom to be greeted by the salesman Anthony. He was gracious and informative as we discussed my choices and Christmas soon approaching. Anthony explained the vehicle I was searching for was not on his lot although his manager can try to locate one. I was then seated in front of Ralph the manager. Ralph wasn't exactly what you would call friendly as far as first impressions go. When I descibed the vehicle I was searching for he said he needed a deposit before he can begin to locate one!! As the conversation went on Ralph offered no solutions and sat there glaring at me as though he didn't want my business. I wanted a new car! I asked the manager if there was another chevy dealer close by...he said to go to Cape Coral! I got up and headed for the door.Law enforcement beware.
