I lived at Montego Bay Apartments in Ft. Myers, Florida. The owners and managers, Property Counselors Management Group (PCMG), now called Incore Residential located in both Fort Myers and St. Petersburg falsified an eviction against me while I was out of the state, entered my apartment without legal notice and stole everything I owned. Their excuse was that they misapplied the rent I had prepaid to other accounts. I had to hire an attorney and private investigator to have part of my belongings returned, which were damaged and piled in a storage room at the clubhouse for me to retrieve. When I arrived after traveling from out-of-state, they had their attorney and property appraiser there who berated and belittled me. To this day, the employees still hold many items that were in my family for generations including our family Bible, three paintings done by my mother and the flag from my grandfather’s coffin. Throughout this ordeal the owners and employees continually lied and covered up. I would strongly recommend that you do not lease their properties or transact any business with them.

I agree with the negative comments on here and this place is a total unmaintained garbage dump! It has roaches, the worst maintenance staff, its old, moldy, dirty,doorslamming, drug dealers hanging around at night,laundry facilities have dirty water all over the ground (actually had my clothes stolen)outsiders using the pool at all hours, the list goes on and on...the place is just falling apart.

But it could have been at least livable for a "get-by" apartment if it wasn't for one person... her name is MICHELLE ..anyone who has lived there (myself 2010-2012) knows who this idiot is...she is an evil,two faced lyer, that will be nice to your face and once you sign the lease will try to do everything in her power to screw you...

I am not just an upset tenant..people!, look at how many people have said this about her on here...its not just me!...she took my security deposit which I am still trying to get back..I actually cleaned the place better than they did!...she is also capable of other things that can't be said on here...she actually should be arrested...by the way she actually thinks all these complaints are funny!...if the owners check these messages please fire this lady..I lived there when the property manager was Nick..he was pretty cool and actually yelled at her during the day for being a dig-bat. Once he left I don't know if they just let her run the place because they didn't have any applicants or not but it is now completely ruined...

Beware of the lady Michelle... but go ahead and live there anyway and you will wish that you haven't....

P.S. Why is every positive comment after a negative post from Anonymous????..Hmm..Let me guess Michelle..what doesn't make sense is if a tenant WAS positive why would they hide it?...Yea, another illegal move from the staff..

Seriously ..DO NOT MOVE HERE...

and check the past..a lot of criminal activity has been reported from these apartments...

IF I COULD HAVE GIVEN THEM ZERO STARS I WOULD HAVE!!!!!!!!



First off when I Came into the office and put down a deposit on a 1/1 apt I was told one was available.



I called to see how my application was coming and I found out they had given away my apt that I had put a HOLDING deposit on and they didn't even bother to call and let me know!!!

They supposedly gave me a discount on the 2/2 apt to compensate me for their mistake.



Come to find out they gave me the same rent as shown online!

Once I moved in the oven did not work.



I told the office and was told they would send someone to fix it....



I had to call about 3 times and waited 3 months for it to finally be fixed.



(also all the repair men are raciest.



My fiance is Spanish they told him that if it was someone else they would not have replace the oven.



good thing he was at the apt and not me!)

Now I pay $65.00 for water every month and since I pay my rent and water in a timely manner I would expect my water to be on but no how could I expect so much of these people!!! There has been at least 7 days that the water has not been on all day.



3 times of which we were not notified.



They will not compensate us for the days it is not on! If I paid the water company directly I would be charged on usage! Currently I received a notice that my water would be off between 9am to 5pm today.



It is now almost 10:00pm and my water is still not on! I am wondering if it will be on in the morning...





I also believe we have a mold problem as well....



I would never rent here again! I will be leaving as soon as my lease is up!

Montego Bay is AWFUL place to live,

AND WATER BILL is always going up, does not matter how many people live in the apartment. for 2 bd apartment - to pay more than a $100- THAT CRAZY!

Can't wait to move up of here !

Everything dirty! Always something broken, and they DON'T harry up to fix!

And not safe as before anymore, police is so often here, and gates NEVER work !
