We received several quotes for installation of our fence. We had the work done with the month. We had them install the vinyl coated chain link fence around the pool and Lanai.

So far we are enjoying the fence and the backyard now.

This company could be so much more if they took the time to get organized, and if they actually cared about their customers. They do not respond to phone calls or emails. I mean - zero response. It took them 11 weeks to install the fence in our yard. They also hit our sprinkler line causing the yard to flood. I understand that happens often, but they didn't even tell us. They just buried the hole. It would have taken us all of 1/2 hour to fix it had they brought it to our attention ... but they didn't. They buried it back up and left us to deal with it. When I brought it to their attention, they didn't even bother to call us. They sent me an email stating they weren't responsible, and wanted to know when they would get the rest of their payment. This "family owned company" doesn't care about you at all. Save yourself a lot of aggravation and go elsewhere.

What a SHAM! How does he stay in business. We gave him a 50% deposit and were told about 2 to 3 weeks till installation. 3 months later, after a lot of calls that never got answered, some woman in the office who tells different lies every time you call. Average results once installed. This guy should be put out of business.

To start I wish I could give him worst the 1 star. This guy sucks he sub contracts work out. He never looks at emails you send him about changes to things you want so once you agree it better be in stone. His guys showed up days late and the office doesn't call you to let you know what's going on you in the dark the whole time. We sent him numerous emails about something we wanted different and he responded and agreed and when the fence went in it was wrong. He argues even after we have it all on paper with changes that he agreed to on paper and try's to act like it wasn't him and wants to write a new contract and won't keep working til you sign it after he has you entire yard looking like a battlefield.



His subcontractors leave trash everywhere and left post holes all over the yard that were incorrectly drill just open they didn't fill them. They just plug rite into you house and use you electricity and use your water coming from your house to do all there work they ruined my landscaping throwing wood down and let concert capped holes they accidentally put in just sitting. We sent him numerous surveys of our property line and he never got them in his email McGil Fence CO of SW Florida

I am both disappointed and disgusted with your company’s lack of professionalism and workmanship.

Let me begin with lack of professionalism. When you sat at my dining room table with my wife and I to get your contract signed and take a down payment you were very clear that you may not be able to have the fence installed by 3/26/2015 but assured us that if you were unable to meet the 3/26/2015 deadline we asked for that you would definitely have our fence completed by the end of the following week. Once both the 3/26/2015 and 4/03/2015 deadlines had passed I placed several calls to your office asking to speak with you to understand the delay. I told both Pam and Robert that you were welcome to call after 10:00 PM as they indicated you often did not return to the office until late in the evening. To this date you have not had the decency to return my call. The only contact you have made was an e-mail you sent on 4/10/2015 indicating that you would have the fence completed the week of 4/13/2015 which is five weeks after we signed the contract not four as you indicate in your e-mail. The fence was still not completed until the week of 4/20/2015. On 4/28/2015 Pam from your office called and left a voice mail that the Cape Coral Codes inspector had signed off on the fence installation and that she would like me to call to discuss the best way to render final payment. Interestingly she indicated that you would have time to personally stop by and pick up a check. Was this meant to be some sort of strong arm tactic because you know how poorly our relationship has gone so far?

From a poor workmanship perspective one of the calls I placed to your office requesting a response from you was to let you know that several of the posts that had been installed were not plumb. Several of the individual slats are so crooked that even the cheater strip at the end of the run cannot be placed to take up the space. Gate hardware is missing fasteners and the ground around the fence and fence posts was not raked out after the job was completed. Your men removed survey stakes and repositioned the points with orange flags that had been placed by Century Link to mark underground phone lines.

They did an excellent job on the fence. The guys really took their time and made sure they got it just right. Very diligent work. The owner is a real gentleman. I did have some communication issues in the beginning but overall very satisfied and would recommend them to anybody.
