My family and I ate here while on vacation, at the end of July, 2014. Shannon was our server and she was Awesome!! This is the best BBQ I have had in my life, so far. I would recommend this place if you are ever in the area.

We visit often. Love the family meals. Their food is hard to beat. Consistant good service. Make sure you ask for Famous Larry...he's the best!!!!

Today we ordered two Dave's Sassy BBQ salads w/chopped pork. I am terminally ill and as a result I am not always up to the task of cooking. I usually enjoy this salad, but tonight's was a bust. When I called in my order, I was pleasantly surprised when I was not put on hold, as this is the usual. Famous Jami W took my order and quoted me a total of $23.30. That seemed higher than usual, but I asked my husband to make sure the price was correct when he picked it up. I was told 10-15 mins for my order to be ready. Since we live less than one city block from the restaurant, my husband left to pick it up at the 15 minute mark. He had a 20 minute wait while it was prepared. He was so upset over the wait time, and leaving me alone at home, that he forgot all about double checking our total. Then he took the containers of salad out of the to-go bag, and we were shocked. You could see the bottom of the container, with the cornbread muffin and dressing inside, there was so little salad. The vegetables were scarce, we only found seed's for the tomatoes. There was no cheese, potato sticks or bacon. We paid $11.65 each for these salad's! We have had other problems with this location, but they were minor. One time they placed the same order as tonight's, but put it in as lunch size. That time we were charged for the lunch size salads, which is what we got. I am very disappointed with the quality of service shown at this location. I am not sure if we will ever patronize it again. It's too bad. I really enjoy the food.

This place has great barbecue at a fair price. However I think Sonnys off of Winkler has you beat. Just my opinion.

Best bbq spot in Florida! We live in Miami and travel to Ft. Myers just to eat at this place! Their meat has a delicious smoked flavor and it's very tender! The variety of sauces is delicious! You need to try this restaurant, its great! :)
