Went in for a chair/recliner, left with a mattress set with a base that is adjustable. The mattress area here is top shelf, I didn't know they sold them. The my salesperson presented the product was very professional and he made us laugh!

Seriously though, very private way to select a mattress, no windows in the gallery, low lighting, tranquil music and an actual waterfall. I got $300 off of my recliner for buying a mattress set. Very happy, go there, ask for Keith or someone on his staff!

My sales person Nancy always is very helpful and always goes out of her way to take the extra time to help me find what I am looking for. She is always honest and gives her real opinion not just trying to make the sale. I always ask for Nancy when I come to the store and would recommend City Furniture and especially Nancy to anybody looking for furniture.

I see a lot of negative feedback on here that I just can't figure out. This company has been a pleasure to deal with. They have haggle free fair pricing and line item everything. They have an exceptional in house warranty that they believe in.

Last Monday, 1/19/15, my boyfriend and I went to City Furniture as we've just moved into a new condo and need to furnish the whole place. We met with Katie, a sales person, and she sold us a 2-piece sectional. Despite the slogan of the store being "same day delivery 7 days a week" she told us that it would be Friday, maybe Saturday at the latest that we'd get our new couch - 6 days. We liked the couch and were having a party at the condo on Saturday, so we assumed it would be fine to receive the couch on Saturday afternoon. On Saturday, however, the truck delivery driver called at 8am to say they were backordered and only had one piece of the sectional - the small chaise and not even the sofa part. We were furious that we'd been told it would be Saturday to begin with, but now we were told it was backordered. My boyfriend called the Fort Myers, FL store manager Danny this morning once the store opened. Danny was completely unapologetic, admitted to no fault, and told us the sofa would be delivered next Thursday - 11 days after we ordered it and after the party we scheduled tonight, Saturday. He even refused to eat the cost of shipping. City Furniture has the worst customer service we have ever experienced - and we work in wealth management and IT consulting. Not only will we not buy the 2 bedroom sets and dining set that we were going to buy from City Furniture, but we will also be telling our peers and clients about this terrible experience as well.

BUYER BEWARE I purchased a bedroom set Jan 5 paid $4800 for just the bed, dresser, mirror & media chest. 3 pieces were on backorder until Jan 14. So they scheduled for all my pieces to be delivered on Jan 16, I went into the store on Jan 12 to add the 2 nightstands for an additional $1000 & mattresses for $3000. I had read all the reviews after I purchased the bedroom set on the 5th & thought to myself well lets ask if the backorder is in yet while I am here. Sure as anything I got the same stories as everyone else on this site is complaining off. Items are now on back order until Feb 19. No phone call NOTHING. If I hadn't gone into the store they would have just shown up for their scheduled delivery day after I had gotten rid of my current set & not within the 24 hour before delivery guideline to return!!! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS HERE!!!! So I demand a manager to speak with before I was taken for by this company & refunded my money. What they don't tell you is that your money will be returned in 7 - 10 business days. So now I am left without a bedroom & need to wait for my money back to fins another! Called cooperate office & files a complaint. They didn't seem to care that they lost an $8800 sale. Store manager didn't care to even research the problem, but as I was told by the manager & rep is that I can pay for all my furniture on Jan 4 & if I don't take the in stock items while they are available then they give it to the next person that comes in & wants next day delivery. They don't hold it for a week until the rest of your items are in stock. I own a very large & successful company I could never show up to a job with have the material, what kind of customer service would that be Hi I have your new cabinets to install but your granite countertops will be delivered in a few months. I mean seriously what company can operate like that. APPARENTLY CITY FURNITURE CAN BECAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS!! Good luck if you purchase anything there if its not in stock I wouldn't give them any money because it will be a long time before you get a complete set there or your money back!!

This company is incompetent at best and dishonest at worst. We were told there was plenty of what we wanted in stock for several items. Then when we wanted to purchase ($8200.00 worth) suddenly there were missing pieces on nearly everything. One was completely unavailable as it was discontinued despite still be advertised on the floor. We made the mistake of our lives and proceeded with the purchase anyway. Regardless of how much you spend and when you purchase if you don't take delivery within 7 days they can't guarantee the inventory will be there since they will not lock it for you like all their competition will. When they finally are ready for delivery they call the day before and tell you what's coming. Then on the day of delivery they call you and tell you that some pieces promised 24 HOURS EARLIER are on backorder. They didn't know this 24 hours ago or did they know and just want to get the inventory off the floor so now if you wanted to cancel the order you would have to pay a restocking fee? This happened NOT ONCE BUT TWICE and we still have not completed the order. If you can shop anywhere else, do it.

Worst furniture purchasing experience ever! I am a vacation rental manager of 20+ vacation rentals and after buying for years at other stores I gave this year City Furniture a chance to become my new furniture supplier. A bad, bad decision. Over 3 month have passed since I ordered the furniture and I am sitting still with a half complete entertain-center-wall-unit. Prior to that, lots of problems with half and bad assembled furniture, rusty legs on metal/glass tables and very unprofessional communication. My sales person was Courtney who even wrote me an email that rusty legs must be coming for letting my furniture stand in the rain! What? Two days after delivery I called in the rusty legs and I am accused that I must have moved my interior furniture to the outside? I wrote a complain to the corporate office. No response. I called the store, got Courtney back on the phone, who told me that he is no permitted to talk to me any longer. Called multiple times customer service. Was told rusty legs will be exchanged and missing entertainment center is on back order. Yes, weeks later they exchanged the legs and gave me a date for the missing entertainment center. Waited for delivery, no call, no guys, no delivery. Called again, new date, new delivery confirmation email, call with time-frame, again NO-SHOW and NO-CALL the next day. That happened over and over in a row, 3 times! Still don't have the missing furniture! Called today and spoke with Simone. I ask her to process a refund and a pickup of the half-complete entertainment center. She said she can't do it because I am Courtney's buyer, but Courtney is not allowed to talk to me. Great! Waiting now for the manager to get back with me.... My advice, consumer, be aware and learn from the reviews of others!

RUN AWAY!!! DO NOT BUYER FURNITURE HERE! They mislead you into thinking you're getting a deal, then lie and make excuses. They do not care about getting any repeat business from you, or whether or not you'll refer friends/family. They SHOULD be thinking about the customer -- but that's their LAST priority! Go anywhere else but City Furniture!
