April Stowers, MSN, FNP, joined Vein Specialists in October 2015. She assists Dr. Magnant and Dr. Nero in performing new patient, preoperative and postoperative evaluations as well as community and physician educational outreaches. April evaluates patients at the Bonita Springs and Fort Myers offices. She is originally from Morgantown, West Virginia and she graduated Magna Cum Laude from West Virginia University in Morgantown with a Bachelor of Science Nursing degree. She later graduated Summa Cum Laude from the same program with a Master of Science Nursing degree. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the Golden Key Honor Society. Her outside interests include spending time with her husband and two small children, running long distance races, and cheering for the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
