Brought in my 18 year old cat who was acting odd. Dr. Hagadorn and staff were very professional and friendly. Dr. Hagadorn explained everything in an easy to understand manner. As a plus they are very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

The staff and atmosphere at Southport are above and beyond anywhere else I have experienced. They truly care and are always thinking in the patient and client's best interest.

Hi, my name is Hunter, I am 9 years old. My guinea pig got sick. His name is Butterball. He was losing his hair and got skinny. We brought him to Southport Animal Hospital right away. He weighed 1 pound and he had mites from the pet store. Dr. Carew took care of him and gave him medicine on his back and we sprayed oatmeal on him ever day. He weighs 4 pounds now and is so fat and healthy. My hotdog dog goes there, too... his name is Papi Pops. Butterball and Papi love going to the doctors. They are so nice there. I want to be an animal doctor one day.



Thank you Dr. Carew for making my Butterball better. And thank you for cutting his nails.

The doctor was great with my dog, I would recommend him to anyone... Very reasonable prices.

Over the years, the vets at Southport Animal Hospital have taken exceptional care of nine of my animals. The staff is gentle, caring, and attentive to all of the animal's special needs. It is a large, welcoming animal hospital that provides personal attention and superior service to every client. I could not be happier or more confident to bring my pets there!!!

I took my kitty there for surgery it was a great experience they call me back to let me know how my kitty was doing and took great care of him, the hospital is clean and the staff and Doctors are nice and friendly the prices are also very afordable i recomend this clinic since i had a great experience.

My Maltese is treated like a prince at Southport Animal Hospital! Dr. Carew is a knowledgeable and caring Vet, whom I trust completely with my dog and any future animals I may get.

The prices are reasonable and staff is exceptional!

Dont take your pets anywhere else!

They have wonderful Doctors and staff there that care about you and your pet, there prices are great, and they will fit you in asap! You cant get any better then that! They also help abadoned animals off the streets. I think they are an amazing Vet office and I travel a good 45 mins just to go to them.

We love Southport!! Our pets have been visiting Southport since late last summer. Since then we have had an array of unfortunate problems arise with our many pets. Both of our dogs had to have emergency surgery and were handled with care. The staff was so supportive and informed us every step of the way. We couldn't be happier. Thanks Southport!!!

Southport was easy ,friendly and extremely affordable compared to my last 2 Vet's. Facility is clean. My pitbull received excellent care. Staff seems very compassionate and organized which is a huge plus!! All and all, you won't find a better Vet with these kinds of rates without compromising the quality of care, anywhere in SFL!!!

Southport Animal Hospital raises the bar for all other veterinarians. Dr. H and Dr. Carew are wonderful and truly place value on the animals they care for rather than milking their clients dry. As the Founder and President of Urban Tails and a volunteer for Sabbath Memorial Dog Rescue; I am so impressed by Southport's commitment to help rescue animals and local organizations who rescue. The hospital was immaculate ,the prices were much more reasonable than the other vet's in the area and and I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes before I was seen by the Dr. This tells me the Dr.'s respect my wallet, my time as well as my anxious pooch. Thanks again.... We'll be back!

My pups love this Vet.!! Staff was friendly and rates are very good. It costs me 1/3 what I was paying at my last Vet and we didn't sit in waiting room for a half and hour either, they took us right in. Both doctors, Hagadorn and Carew are extremely talented and have tremendous reputations. Dr. Carew has preformed successful surgeries on both of my dogs and again, didn't break my bank!! We are very lucky to have found such a great affordable place with a talented compassionate team. Over all I would and HAVE recommended this animal hospital highly!!!

doctors at southport are the best. they are caring, knowledgeable, sympathetic towards their patients and always put them and their care first. vet techs are wonderful and very efficient. patient care first rate. clean facility. very pleasant and extremely helpful front desk staff. i take all my animals there and refer my clients to them as well. anyone that i refer is always very happy with their services. they are great with all the animals!

Southport is my new Veterian center for my pet needs. I cannot express more appreciation for the care they gave my Sheltie Five-Oh , who recently underwent emergency surgery for a condition that I was not even aware of.Shelties have thich coats and my Five-Oh is like a furry teddy bear.When I went to the vet I thought I was going because my dog was vomiting but after a close examine the vet found a punture under the fur where he had ingested a stick that was not festering into a large wound. You could not see this unless you shaved the dog.It just never occured to me that this could be his problem.They did an emergence surgery and cleaned it all out.The vet was very concerned and treated my Five-Oh better than own doctor does me sometimes.

The staff was just great and so friendly I just want to say a big Thanks .

The price was great and the Vet Jon Paul went above and beyond in his service treating other small problems at the same time.
