Having received a first class dental education from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, joining the faculty for 2 years and then specializing in Endodontics at LSU School of Dentistry, the commitment was deeply set and also the passion for the profession. Dr. Pena's specialty training focused on non-surgical root canals, non-surgical re-treatments, surgical endodontics, and traumatic injuries. After 3 decades as a solo practitioner, Dr. Pena join Dr. Diane McGinty. Our team of specialized endodontic staff makes for an even more comfortable and pleasant experience, where we can use our skills as practitioners and also have skills to alleviate patient's fears, pain and restore them to overall health and wellness. Dr. Pena is affiliated with many community associations, including: -American Dental Association -Florida Dental Association -Broward County Dental Association -Fort Lauderdale Dental Study Club -American Association of Endodontists -Florida Association of Endodontists Dr. Pena has been a resident of Fort Lauderdale since 1984 and when not at work, she is involved with the Alzheimers Association, her parish and local groups. She also enjoys traveling, gastronomy and fitness.
