Masco Appliance is now my only company. I had a fridge that was not getting cold and I had another company to my home that had no idea what they were doing. So I called Masco they sent a technician to my home that day and were able to fix it while they were at my home. BEST APPLIANCE COMPANY AROUND.

I was referred to this appliance repair company by the after market warranty company. I bought my Maytag washing machine back in October of 2011. Never had problems with it until Aug 29 of 2013. In the middle of a wash it just stopped working and was displaying error codes that were not in the manual which directed me to call the warranty service. I emptied the clothes out of the washer and I tried to do a wash with no clothes to drain the left over water. It started to wash as normal and then stopped again with the same results. Jose the repairman from Masco came to my house the first time and opened up the machine. He was here for about an hour and told me the computer board and the lock will have to be replaced and he has to order parts through warranty company. He showed me the order receipt which listed 3 items, I do not know what the third item was. After he left the lock on the door was totally locked and would not open even after unplugging it and restarting it numerous times. A couple days later Masco called me and said they have the parts and 2 men were coming to my house to install the parts and they would be at my house for about 2 hours to do the repair. At around 5:30 PM Jose showed up by himself with his tools and a medium sized box. He walked in, glanced at the washer and says he needs assistance and will have to come back when another repair can assist him. Six days later Jose comes back with another repairman and starts to work on the washer. They did a lot of banging and noise making but then after about 20 mins tells me he has to order the computer board because the lock repair wasn't the issue. ??? Now after 3 attempts to fix my washer in a total of 2 weeks with no progress, I have to wait another 5 days because Jose cant make a phone call to Masco service center and order the computer board until he does his rounds for the day and ends back at Masco at the end of the day. I get no answers with the women working the phones at Masco. Corine at front desk tells me the manager Sarah is unavailable and tells me Jose was told by the warranty company to try and fix the lock first and then order the computer board if that didn't work. Well if you read this review correctly I specifically stated that the lock stopped working after the first time Jose came and he showed me the order receipt to get the lock, computer board and a third item ordered but he only came back with the lock parts?!? Now has to order the computer? And not to mention every time I called them I was immediately put on hold. Masco please hold?!?
Long story short:Fridge was not cooling enough. Tech from Masco comes in (on Friday), pulls a sensor out (from cooling element) and tells me that they will issue a quote for the repair on the following Monday ($80 gone here). Quote comes in for $400 to replace main board (which later I found out costs $88). I then hired another company that came in, tested the board, found only the sensor to be bad, replaced ($11) and the fridge is up and running since then.If the tech had just made a mistake, that would be fine if they would admit it. However, they just ignore my messages (website 'Contact Us') and phone calls. I'll post as many reviews as I can. Their quote is in front of me so I don't forget.If I manage to warn the next victim, I've done good service to my community. I'm building a blog just to report that as well. I'm sure when people Google them, my blog will be in the search results.Return my messages, handle my concerns as a customer, admit your mistake, and I'll reconsider all reviews that I'm posting (yellow pages, angie's list, etc...).Zero tolerance for bad business practices.

Masco came out for my dryer and I had no problems at all. Office staff was very nice and tech was very knowledgeable, parts ha to be ordered and when they came in I was contacted and scheduled for service. Fair price.

I had no problem with Masco. My washer was out and I called Masco to schedule an apt, I had nothing but pleasant dealings with the office staff. The tech arrived as scheduled. Tech was clean cut, polite and knew what he was doing, He informed me he would have to order a part. Being in a similar industry I know parts have to be ordered from the manufacture. Its not like these guys can ride around in 18 wheeler with over 100,000 parts on their trucks. Anyway parts were ordered I was contacted when they came in, scheduled for service again staff was great, tech again arrived when he said he would. Washer works like a beauty. Kudos Masco!

I had no choice - the warranty company for my appliance uses these people. Like others, scheduling an appointment was a nightmare. Terrible customer service. Worse, they were a no-show for the first appointment and nearly an hour late foe the rescheduled one. MOST IMPORTANTLY - beware if you live outside of Broward County. In the technicians and owner's words: "if you live in Miami you are a major inconvenience for us so we cannot ever schedule your appointment in the morning." I asked them to clarify and they reiterated. It wasn't because they could not, but because they found it a major inconvenience for them to have to "come so far south just for one person." Mind you I wasn't in a rush or demanding a specific date. So if you want a morning appointment due to your obligations or work schedule, too bad. I will never ever recommend these people to anyone. Obviously for them the customer is not their top priority so I can never in good conscience recommend them to anyone. I would give them zero stars if possible.

A friend had recommended Masco to me to help me with an A/C issue I was having (in September, no less!) and I almost didn't call this company after some of the reviews i read. After seeing how the owner responded to them, and knowing how some people can be difficult, plus with my friends recommendation, I decided to give them a try. I had an excellent experience with Masco. Monty (I think a supervisor with the A/C repair department) was extremely friendly, and communicative, and was trying to get his guys to my home very quickly, and at a time that was convenient for me. He even called to keep me in the loop with their arrival time. They arrived as promised, and were friendly, helpful, and made suggestions on how I can save money. I know some people are hard to satisfy, and also know there are people that post false reports, just to be mean. Masco is a very good company, competitively priced, and honorable. I highly recommend them.

Dont go there!!! The service si awful!! They charged us 60$ BEFORE repairing, and when we returned to pick-up our wine cooler, They told us it is not repairable, and never reimbusted us... I Can't believe how a company like that is still on operation! Hope that my comment Will help only one person to go somewhere else... And be better serve!
We are very sorry you were unhappy with our service. It was explained to you before you brought in your wine cooler that there would be a $60.00 shop fee for diagnosis. You left the wine cooler with us for several months as you were back in Canada and didnt return our calls. We are very sorry that Avanti doesnt continue to stock your replacement parts for this unit but we spent several hours diagnosing and researching for your parts. We also did a nationwide search to no avail. We have no control over manufacturers parts supplies, but we certainly wanted to repair your unit as much as you did. I have attempted to contact you again to discuss a future credit on any needed service. I am unfortunatley unable to reach you again. This company was rude!!! Never got a call on when to expect the technician and the same day I got a call saying they would be at my house within a couple of hours. The thing is I was at work because an appointment was never made!!!! Then when I got a phone call from Masco, the man on the phone got smart with me and told me that them not calling to make an appt was neither here nor there!!!!! Excuse me!!!!!!! Folks, if you don't get good customer service, don't give these companies your business. The bottom line is they need you more than you need them and there is always other companies out there who will give you what you need and deserve!!!!!!
As owner of Masco Appliance Service, please let me say that I am disapointed that we were not able to respond to your needs. That is the most important thing we try to do in servicing our customers. Many of our calls are generated by the manufacturers and are scheduled online, but it is never an excuse when this happens. We hope your particular issue got resolved and hope that in the future when you have an appliance or air conditioning issue that you give us a chance to do better for you. Disgusted with this company. I was told over the phone they would be here in the AM. The service man did call around 10:30am and said his window time for arrival would be 1pm-3:00pm. He showed up at 3:30pm. So I would advise anyone who is waiting for a service repair from this company to be ready to wait all day. The customer service over the phone with this company was very rude. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold and the same rude lady answered and acted as if she was the supervisor. Very unprofessional. In all I would not recommend this company for repairs to anyone.

I have had my WPL washer for 3 years. When I got an error code on the machine and it just stopped spining I didn't know who to call. I called Masco Appliance to come a look at it. The customer service I received when I called was great everyone was so helpful and nice. When Robert came out to look at the washer he knew just what needed to be done after a few minutes. He ordered me the part that was needed the very next day. The part took a few days to be shipped and as soon as the part came in, the office called me and set up an appointment for Robert to come back to install it the very next day. I will never trust any of my appliances to any other company from now on. Masco made me one happy customer!!!

Wille just left my house for a Saturday repair and what a courteous, polite technician! Willie was also accompanied by Lamar, another customer friendly tech. My new KitchenAid refrigerator and stove had problems when they were delivered. The doors on the side-by-side refrigerator were not even and looked awful. The freezer door was more than an inch higher at the top than the refrigerator door. Also, the refrigerator door handle had several scratches on it. As for the stove, the warming drawer on the bottom did not fit correctly.
The company I bought the appliances from said they could not fix the problems and told me to call an authorized KitchenAid repair service. (In fact, they told me that I'd have to live with the uneven refrigerator doors because that's how KitchenAid side by sides came.) Luckily, I called Masco.
The Masco repair person fixed the uneven doors in what seemed like less than a minute. He then ordered a new door handle and a new warming drawer. About two weeks later, the repair person returned with the new door handle and warming drawer. He installed the unscratched handle in a few seconds. However, the new warming drawer still did not fit right. I didn't notice it, but he did. He graciously said that he'd order another one. He did, and then came back in another two weeks with a perfect drawer.

Arrived 2.5 hours late without calling to let me know they would be late. When they finally "fixed" the issue, the appliance was not reassembled correctly and now does not work due to improper reassembly. A second appliance needed a part. It was to be available in 2 days. Two weeks later I called and no one knew anything about it. The next day, I received a call stating the part was in and please schedule an appointment. Appointment was scheduled, a week in advance. The day before, I was called and told that I would need to take a day off because the repair people only work in my area in the "morninings!" When I explained that I would not be available for a morning appointment and I had requested an afternoon appointment a week prior, I was told that my company would have a day off in two weeks and I should schedule my appoint for that day. My company did not have that day as a scheduled day off. I was told I was a lair!!!
I hung up and will NEVER CALLOR RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Md12345w, I spoke with you personally for 45 minutes trying to meet your needs. As i said to you, my technician called all three of your phone numbers and got no response. He took your ticket with you hoping you would return his calls but when you finally did he was out of the area. I offered to come to you personally at 8 am of after 4. You demanded we come on saturday after 6 pm or sunday morning at 10 am. This is not a reaonable request. I am sorry we could not accomodate your schedule but we offered two other companies that might have been able to help you. When you hung up on me I even called you back in an attempt to help you. We hope your immediate issues were resolved and think it is good that you found another company.
