Open your wallet and expect to pay nearly $500.00 to open a stopped drain. We had to call for service after hours knowing we would be paying higher rates on a Sat night. The technician supposedly cleared out the drain in less than 2 hours and the fee was $185.00. Within 48 hrs our toilet and shower backed up and flooded the bathroom floor. We called the Green Team, they returned, and two hours later the drains were clear and the fee was $315.00. The snake that should have been run from the roof on Sat night and one in the shower area took care of the problem. The technician also encouraged us to employ their camera for an additional $350.00 to make sure there were no cracks in the line. Since then, we have seen ads from a reputable company that charges $93.00 to open a drain or it's FREE! Plus it includes a free camera inspection! Granted, that would be the fee for regular business hours, not emergency hours. But nearly $500.00 to do the job that wasn't done right to begin with is not RIGHT! There are always variables that come into play with any plumbing , electrical, air conditioning, etc needs, but in this instance, we felt we were paying excessive fees for a job that wasn't done correctly to begin with!
