Every time you come in to see them they want to do a urinalysis. They won’t discuss any lab results over the phone even when those results mean hey we don’t need to see you again instead they have you come in do another urinalysis and pay the rather large office visit fee to spend less than five minutes chatting saying your labs look good we don’t need to see you again. I’ve been there numerous times over the past few years as my PSA reading tend to go up and down and my GP generally feels better if I check in with a urologist. The last time they made an automatic six month follow up appointment even though the doctor had said that wasn’t really necessary and if I hadn’t called and canceled it I would have been charged for the visit. The doctor himself I’m OK with he does offer advice I don’t know if he is restricted by clinic rules not to just notify me via a phone call that labs look good or not. If it’s not a clinic rule but his way of doing things then I am not happy with

Disappointing. Went in for severe urinary retention. The PA put in a catheter, prescribed pills, and sent me home. A week later went in for catheter removal. Went home, was back in emergency that evening for... urinary retention. Never saw a doctor. Catheter was not tied down to my thigh, causing much discomfort for a whole week. On-call doctor took an hour to return a call.

I spent a year nearly bedridden at age twenty. I saw many doctors, who all told me I had kidney stones, and to drink alot. After more than a year of constant pain, I walked into the Urology center, and within ten minutes of explaining symptoms the doctor there knew exactly what it was. He penciled me in for an immediate test, and within a month or two performed a quick surgery. I've now been completely pain free for several years.
