Charlies Steak & Ale is centrally located at the intersection of Y Highway and 160 in Forsyth Missouri. I?ve had a chance now to eat there numerous times over the past year, most often while in the company of friends. The building is relatively new, clean and is a pleasant place to eat in general. Most of the time, the service has been prompt except for a time when I stopped by for lunch and they were crowded. As far as the menu goes, it offers a wide variety including items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I personally like the daily specials which are great deals for the amount of food you get. My favorite special has been the steak platter. This menu item is very tasty and the meat, unlike some restaurants I have been to, was juicy and done just the way I ordered it. Good place and nice people.
