we have a 16-18 year old garage door opener that had a broken limiter switch and couldn't get it to close automatically. We really didn't do too much maintenance on the garage door so I found Forney garage repair and decided to do a full maintenance on it. james came out yesterday and did a full assessment. He found the broken switch and gave me some options. He said the fix would be inexpensive, but I told him to do a full safety check and he said the main spring can hold up for some more years, but it possibly could give out and it was a bit old. I decided to have him to a full maintenance and fix the switch. He relubed the main chain, all the roller, re tightened all the bolts connected to the door, added a stability a-frame piece of metal which stabilized the main shaft which wobbled before, fixed the limiter switch and replaced the main spring and added weather stripping below the door.

All I can say is that it was great. It's much more quieter, super sealed, more stable and from a safety perspective good to go for many more years to come. james actually gave me some great maintenance tips that I should do yearly in terms of lubrication to make sure everything runs smoothly going forward.

The money spent was affordable and gave me piece of mind that I won't have any issues with the door for a long time.

garage door in forney is the only company I would call for garage door service/repair or installation. They recently installed a brand new opener. We decided to get our garage doors replaced after we had a garage door opener replaced.

The doors were the old wooden ones with 4 windows. I hated them. They were drafty and we have needed new ones for a long time.

I found Forney garage door, read the review and I decided to give him a call. Josh - tech He does the installs they gave us a great price tax, installation, and removal all included in the price, no hidden fees!!! He was there at 9am sharp. Took out the old doors, installed the new ones, with new trim and hauled away all the trash, doors, old rails, and cables.He was efficient and friendly and fun to talk too.

I want to recommend them . GREAT LOCAL COMPANY.

One of my garage door panels was damaged by the previous homeowner. I decided to get the damage repaired after I became concerned the bent panel was causing further damage to the rest of the garage door mechanism.Nathan came over and discovered the panel he brought was different from the sticker on my door. He evaluated my damaged panel and felt the damage was merely cosmetic. They will be the first one I call if I have a garage door issue in the future
