I am VERY picky about who gives me treatments, and over the years, have not found too many people who can provide the service and quality I expect. I had been searching for a place that provided facials, and pedicures, and it wasn't until I found the Skin Care Company that I finally received treatments worth raving about! And what luck! They are so close to downtown! Everyone there is professional and courteous! Because I trust the people who work there, I have been brave enough to try other services, and have never been disappointed. All the employees are extremely friendly, and accomplished in their field of expertise. After my first facial, all my co-workers raved about how amazing I looked! And, my pedicured feet have never been prettier!

I also have had many facials in this area and many in other places while traveling. In recent years I have not ventured anywhere else be cause Sandra gives the best facial I have ever had. She has been taking care of my face since 2000 and no one does it better. Even twice when she was on maternity leave, Judy and the other girls took care of me exactly as she would have. If you're the type that just wants lotion wiped on your face or wants a mask and then left alone for 20 minutes or more for a nap, then Skin Care Company may not be for you. The facial and head massage, the hand and foot massage while the steam amd mask is working, the expertise in accessing your skin is fantastic. I have a scheduled appointment every 3 weeks because my skin is very important to me and I would not trust it to anyone else.

I was completely shocked to see the negative review. I have been to countless spas all across the Chicago area but keep coming back to see Sandra. I have been a client of hers for the last 6 YEARS... I have sent them countless friends and family members and have never heard 1 negative thing. Everyone I know has been more than happy with the service. I can only imagine that this was some sort of misunderstanding. I highly recommend them and will continue to do so.

The WORST experience I have ever had, and for the record I have had many, many facials at many different places. The esthetician relies on your own personal assesment of your skin, which you need to tell them because NOONE even asks. I left here feeling like I had my face scrubbed with sand paper #10, and looking like it also. Not even a soothing lotion or mask afterwards. When I spoke with the owner her only response is that she trained the girl and that this is how it is, and I should of spoken up, well isn’t this their job for a fair assessment? She did offer to fix my now fire red face, but since she is so condensendly told me that she personally trained Judith, how can I trust my face to her. I have had better facials and extractions at schools by new students then this local establishment. You do get a hand, & foot massage that was the only decent part of this experience. Instead of having 1 hour to relax I felt like I was being beat up, I actually had a bruise on my temple and my head the following day. I guess the word “ouch” isn’t speaking up enough. I left here with a stressed out looking face and the worst headache. Not quite the spa/facial experience I had hoped for.

Please ladies spend your money elsewhere; there are plenty of spas/salons etc… that offer a great service with customer service. When I called to express my concern, Sandra, the owner was very defensive, condescending and rude. All she cared about was telling me that she is so well known for her facials all around town. Ladies there are so many places that would appreciate your business; DO not trust these unprofessional & rude people with your skin.
