Horrible rude cashier. Asked if they could get another cashier because of the long lines and I was treated very rudely. Asked nicely if I could talk to a manager and I was accused of yelling at the cashier. Yeah right! Shopped here for over 25 years will not go back again. Looking at the other reviews management must think this is a standard practice to treat their customers this way. Shame on you Cub!

So for Thanksgiving of 2016 we order a thanksgiving dinner through the Forest Lake Cub foods. What a horrible experience we had the turkey was burnt so we couldn't get into that. The gravy was like water, everything had drained into my daughters truck do to the way they packed everything. We called and complained about it and they said they would make it right. This is how they made it right remember we paid $80.00 for this and they only sent us a $25.00 Cub gift certificate. I'm thinking about placing an ad with the paper as well as all online that I can. How else can they ruin a holiday. What a shame we will no longer shop at a cub foods store.

Rude evening/night worker

Accidentally bought the wrong item and brought it back to exchange it and the clerk was rude and told me she had throw it away and "that was a shame". I know they "supposedly" throw it away, but I'm sure she will take it home. For gosh sakes I'm human, and I didn't return it I bought a more expensive item

poor service

The difference with a good review and a bad one is that the person making the good review has not spent enough time shopping .

As far as Cub in forest lake goes, I have been shopping there since it opened. I have noticed a big change in the way they treat customers. Most of this is a management problem. these are things that have occurred in the last three months.

Three times while at the customer service desk, I have had to wait as much as six minutes while the person talked on the phone to a family member. Another time the employee ignored me while she was engaged in some other task. Another time I waited for five minutes while she carried on a conversation with another person about what they did over the weekend.

Many times they were out of stock on some of the products. Three times at the deli they were out of the food product i was there to purchase. five times including today they were out of containers..

I have had to wait in the check out line because they crasher chose to visit and exchange recipes with a customer. Then they have the crasher that is just plain slow.

All the promotional gimmicks to get people to buy there are wasted whey they are not able to understand that we don't go the the store to visit or waste our time in line.

I blame most of the problems with customer service on managers that don't understand marketing in the sense of capitalism. Attitude is important.

Excellent!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Short wait for most prescriptions. Why not do your shopping while you wait? The grocery store has all the products that you need. Convenient location, easy to find. Highly recommend them.

Great Store!

I do about 80% of my grocery shopping here. Great selection of fresh fruits and veggies. Bakery, deli, floral. Carry products for all the needs that I have. Pharmacy on site and TCF bank too. Right next door is a large MGM liquor store for that bottle of wine you need for that special dinner. Also next to Starbucks, enjoy a fresh hot cup of coffee to reward yourself for that shopping trip! Cub Forest Lake has friendly helpful employees and they honor my numerous coupons too!
