This business is so unprofessional and rude. I call 9am and they said the person I needed to talk to wasn't in till 10 and that I would get a call back. I end up calling 5pm since I didn't receive a call back and they tell me the person I'm suppose to talk to left the office for the day and No one can answer a simple question and they can't help me! These people are ridiculous and never dealing with them ever again.

I have to agree with ALL the BAD reviews. Very incompetent, rude, uneducated, and best of all ignorant staff. Starting from the top of the chain (Bruce) to the bottom (Lauren) RUDE. There are many other financing companies out there. Please do your research before you regret what you got yourself into with this company. It doesn't matter how good you are with your payments. They will not report the good, only the bad. And be careful, they might repo your car on the last payment claiming they never received the previous payment and then resell your car and make profit again. Please do yourself a FAVOR, don't finance anything with this company. And if you already made the mistake like me: don't let them intimidate you, they will threaten you, and go as far as insulting you. AGAIN, please research your options, there are other people out there that deserve your business, educated, polite, and helpful. UNLIKE THRIFT.

The most rude, incompetent staff I have ever come across. No telephone manners, keep you on hold for a long time and just forget they even put you on hold in the first place. They know your name and all important info about you yet they are reluctant to give their own name when you ask for it. Never recommend this company to anyone else, it is a ripoff, they will hold the title to your car as long as they can.... If you want a bad experience then this is the company to get for your car needs from..... Bad.bad. Bad business. My rating for them is a big ZERO

MY CREDIT WAS NOT GREAT. I WANTED TO BUY A CAR AND WAS SHORT A FEW THOUSAND SO I FINANCED IT WITH THRIFT INVESTMENT. I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME OF THESE REVIEWS ARE SO NEGATIVE. IT'S PRETTY EASY PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME AS PROMISED AND EVERYONE IS HAPPY. IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS HONORING YOUR LOAN COMMUNICATE WITH THEM AND THEY WILL WORK WITY YOU! MY LOAN IS PAID OFF AND I THANK THRIFT FOR HELPING ME IMPROVE MY CREDIT SCORES.

My position is more positive.

I was put in a very bad credit position by my x husband leaving me with tons

of debt. x husband put mortgages just in my name, but he remained on the deed

so all HIS bad debt & judgements are leined against a mortgage I am solely

responsible for and could never afford by myself. Needless to say my credit is

severely damaged. I needed to secure an auto loan these guys were nothing but nice,

and I was extended a loan/lease.



I do pay my bills on time so I have not expierienced their past due tactics, however

it is probably in the contract somewhere of their policy. Thrift investments is buying bad

paper and extending credit to high risk clients so their quick action to secure their

property should be understood.



To this day I am thankful that Bruce listened to me as a person and considered my

situation and extended me the loan I needed for a vehicle. Nobody else did they

just looked at my credit score and stamped my forehead denied.
