On my first visit with this attorney, I discovered several errors on documents that I was asked to sign and the details had to be revised three different times. After filing the documents, there was still an error that the attorney had made although I was reassured that this information would be verified before filing. I returned a second time to re-sign the documents and began to inquire about the details to avoid another mistake. Steve Bublitz immediately became irritated and short with me & stated that I had provided the incorrect information (which was not true & could be proven). After asking his assistant to retrieve the information I had provided, he began to yell, calling me an idiot and stating that he no longer wanted to handle the case and money would be refunded. I'm still in shock over the unprofessional behavior displayed from a single inquiry. He acted as if he needed medication.

If giving negative stars were an option, I would. Watch out for this guy. He was a dream lawyer in the beginning..when he wanted my case. Friendly, consistent and even filed for a motion free of charge in regards to something unrelated to my bankruptcy case. Now I'm two years in and I need him to file a motion on my behalf due to some tragic things occurring in my person life and he literally WILL NOT return my calls or answer my emails. Prior to his disappearing act, the few times we did communicate, he started to become irritated and very short with me over simple inquiries. You would think he was paying me and not vice versa. I've left three messages with his secretary. BEWARE.

After seeking and interviewing multiple lawyers and firms in the area, I found Steven Bublitz to be by far the most thorough, knowledgeable and patient. His rates were fair and reasonable, he does not try stealing money from your pockets. His staff is courteous and engaging, they even had me smiling during this extremely stressful time. I would recommend Steven Bublitz to my friends and family in the blink of an eye. Steven represents the title of 'Bankruptcy Attorney' better than anyone else.
