I couldn't believe how I was treated today by the managers in here. I seen the manager spit in my food. Not to mention the roaches crawling all over the floor. When I complained about the roaches is when he started yelling at me. I would take my dog to eat there..

Manager hit customer, sued in court

They were sued in 2006 (go to www.courts.mo.gov/casenet and search "CHINESE GOURMET RESTAURANT") for ripping off a customer and then physically punching a customer when they refused to pay the rip-off amount. Police were called. Chinese Gourmet decided to overcharge after a meal was over despite the buffet price clearly labeled on their sign. Manager's excuse in court was "we ran out of letters for the bulletin board menu" and "It's Sunday, people 'feel the love' on Sundays and don't mind paying more". Chinese Gourmet was found guilty and forced to pay court costs and damages to the plaintiffs. Why anyone would go there is beyond me.
