Located in Florence, Ala., Weeden Elementary School is one of three elementary schools within the Florence City School System. It serves more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade four. Its curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and music subjects. The school s district offers courses in foreign language, business and marketing, cooperative education, cosmetology, drafting and design and electronics. It also offers courses in family and consumer science, graphic arts, health science and manufacturing technology. In addition, the district conducts extracurricular activities and sport events.
