I’d suggest taking a look at this website for information and tips about moving in NYC moving-helpers[dot]com. They are a mover themselves, but there’s also plenty of resources there that may be helpful to anyone moving to or from the area. I was impressed with their professional attitude and willingness to provide an impeccable service. The gentlemen involved in the move were real hard workers.

I would NOT recommend this moving company. The entire time, the movers complained about how much stuff I had. They scraped my freshly painted walls while throwing my bed frame on the floor, not bothering to assemble it. My brand new dresser was ruined and covered in black marks. They were unable to get my entire sectional into my apartment. So now I'm left with half a couch. I called to complain and be reimbursed for the damages and never received a call back. Avoid this company if you value your belongings.

This moving company has moved me two times. Each time has been great.

It's hard to find a good moving company with soooooo many choices out there. I called a few companies and then checked them all out with the bbb.

out of 5 companies 3 were not members of the bbb and the other 1 have a few bad reviews.

men on the move's record was great, the movers were great and the move went smooth! they even had to put my couch on top of my elevator to get it up...crazy! I highly recommend this moving company, my experience with them was great.

I am not the easiest person to impress, but men on the move made my move painless and easy.

I couldn't ask for a better move.
