The owner of this place practices unsafe and cruel (berating) working practices for her employees. She is very ruthless and the employees suffer tremendously. You can never get the same stylist when you come back, because there is such a big turnover. I understand the owner is not a hairstylist, but just out of the military and she treats her business and employees like they are in a boot camp. It is obvious it is a money greed with her and nothing more. She does not care about people! And that is what that business is all about! I noticed she watches them on video cam and belittles in front of customers on the phone (while I was standing there) if she thinks they are doing something wrong by watching the camera. She will not let her employees sit down and the enthusiasm lacks in that environment because the employees are so tired and worn out. There is one lady in particular that her veins pop out of her legs, and limps when she walks. This owner has taken the fun out of this exciting profession. She should be banned from ever owning a salon. Her employees are very nice, however they are very vulnerable to her unethical working practices. I have witnessed "Hazing" in this Salon. Stay away from the one on Hill Road...not all the Great Clips run in this unhealthy manner, just this one in particular that I know of. If anyone else knows of other salons that run this way, please email me. I intend to look into this further for possible illegal working conditions. Thank you, Denise.
