With more than 2 million vehicles manufactured since it was founded, AutoAlliance International is an automobile manufacturing plant this is jointly operated by Ford and Mazda. The plant currently manufactures Mazda6 and Ford Mustang vehicles. Its past products have included Mazda MX-6, Ford Probe, Mazda 626 and Mercury Cougar vehicles. AutoAlliance International s manufacturing facilities are situated on more than 400 acres in Flat Rock, Mich., north of Detroit. The company s facilities are certified according to ISO 9002 standards, as well as Wildlife Habitat Council standards. The plant s products have received numerous awards from Car & Driver and Motor Trend magazines.
