Mountain School is a public charter school that provides a range of learning opportunities and promotes the creative thinking capabilities of students. It enrolls students in kindergarten through grade six. Established in 1980, the school conducts classes in several subjects, including math, reading, writing, music, art, Spanish and English. Mountain School has been serving the educational needs of students since 1980. In addition, it features a parent advisory committee that works for the development of the academic, social, physical, spiritual and emotional skills of children. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including basketball, soccer, painting and photography. Mountain School, located in Flagstaff, Ariz., additionally provides special education services.
