Formed in 1997, Center for Data Insight (CDI) is an applied research center working in areas of knowledge discovery and data mining. Based in Flagstaff, Ariz., the center, a part of the Northern Arizona University, is equipped with advanced parallel computers, servers and workstations. It provides a comprehensive set of tools for data warehousing, data cleansing, data quality analysis, data preparation/aggregation, statistical analysis, predictive modeling and data visualization. It offers a broad spectrum of services to business and government agencies across industry lines, including financial, retail, insurance, manufacturing, medical, and biological systems. Center for Data Insight (CDI) has partnerships with companies, such as IBM, Minetech, SAS Institute Inc., SPSS and Unica Technologies, to name a few.
