Hired Richard for annual maintenance on our two AC units.

Richard missed the first appointment, texted me one hour after the agreed upon time, then rescheduled for two days later. He was an hour late for that appointment as well. After the service, one unit stopped working. After looking into it, I found that filters for both units had been reinstalled incorrectly against the airflow (so much for a vote of confidence into whatever else he did!), but reversing them did not fix the problem with the upstairs unit.

I contacted Richard the same day when he did the service, he promised to fix the problem the next day or, at the very latest, the day after. I contacted him at 7pm on that second night via phone and text since he had not shown up again. Phone went to (full) mailbox, text was answered with "who is this?" and, when I explained, no more replies.

He is $5 cheaper than the competition, but you pay dearly for that. Will hire someone else to fix my AC unit now and then sue Richard for damages. Unbelievable.
