My name is Lian Cottrell, owner of Geist Pet Sitting. A few years ago, my husband and I had the need for a pet sitter for our German Shepherd named Elsa while we both worked full-time. We found a great "Pet Nanny" that not only let our dog out during the day for a "potty break" but also could watch her during an occasional weekend. No worries. Even our house looked lived in while we were away. It was great! After living in the United States for over 20 years, I'm now realizing the American Dream - owning my own business! With my love for animals and the explosive growth in the Geist and Fishers area, I decided to become a professional pet sitter. That was in 2003. Since then, I've really enjoyed taking care of dozens of dogs and cats ( and other pets ) throughout the area. Some of the dogs I've know since they were little puppies. Occasionally, in the early morning or late evening and weekends, my husband Jim helps take care of the pets as well. They love for him to take them for walks and play ball or whatever else they might enjoy. We are fully bonded and insured and member of Pet Sitters International ( PSI ) and National Association of Professional Pet Sitters ( NAPPS ).
