The Outreach Ministry Area is will provide mission opportunities for members of St. Andrew's by: 1) Encouraging financial support to missions, and directing the funds for special and Holiday Mission offerings, and the Hovis Fund, to appropriate ministries, charities, individuals and agencies. 2) Promoting personal involvement in mission opportunities for giving, and active mission service, through Community Dinner, Festival of Sharing, Church World Service Programs, Unicef, Collection, UMCOR Appeals, and support of mission trip opportunities for youth and adults. 3) Providing education & information to the congregation on Peace with Justice and outreach opportunities & missions, through the mission bulletin board in the education wing, articles in the messenger, & a mission event.
