This is not only a gorgeous funeral home, having once been a residence many decades ago, but it is run by wonderful people who are always there for you. Whether you plan a viewing, a visitation or the "works" the people working there are always circulating and ensuring that all guests are comfortable. As much as I dislike going to funeral homes and viewings in particular, these guys make it so, so comfortable for anyone there - be it the deceased family members or the guests, I have never been anywhere that can beat Oxley-Heard. IF I had a funeral to plan, Oxley-Heard would be my FIRST (and last) stop. They are wonderful people in a fantastic truly Southern environment. They exude caring, and I can guarantee you that it is not fake! I have never been a "customer", but I have been there a few times in the past couple of years in honor of deceased friends, and I have always been extremely impressed. If you choose Oxley-Heard, you will NOT regret it.
