House was filthy..stains ALL over carpets throughout the house..kitchen was filthy we spent hours upon arrival cleaning and scrubbing the refrigerator and oven prbly wasnt cleaned in years..all bathrooms had hair all over floors from previous guests but they did have that toilet was just cleaned paper wrapped around toilet seat, prbly the only thing that was clean in the house..mattress pads were all stained window blinds were broken, sliding screen to patio was broken..the only thing going for this house was the deck and we spent most of our time out there..i called Nancy to let her know that we spent hours cleaning and she really didnt seem like she cared..our stay was 3 weeks ago and we never got a call asking if we enjoyed our stay..its too bad because

this house has alot of potential if only it was kept clean for people who spend all year saving for vacation and expecting there accomodations worth the price they pay.

Love Fenwick Island! Love the great houses we've stayed that John and Nancy have rented us! We have stayed in many houses over the 20+ years we've been going to Fenwick Island and they have all been great! Over the years there have been little issues (a leaking roof once, a broken microwave, and things like this) and either Nancy or John had someone come fix the problems within the same day or the next day. It has always been a great experience for our family and is made even nicer by dealing with such caring people! I would highly recommend Kleinstuber's for anyone looking to stay in this wonderful area!

I rented a house from Kleinstuber. Being from out of town, I only had pictures and the listing to go from in making my decision to rent the house.



Upon arrival...



The house was filthy.

Layers of dust everywhere-in the vents, on the radiators, on the furniture.

The kitchen appliances and the cabinets were coated in grimy, greasy dust and filled with someone else's food.

The refrigerator was layered in mold and rust both inside and out.

The furniture was severely worn, stained and dirty.

Carpets weren't vacuumed and badly stained.

Amenities listed on the rental sheet were incorrect.



Despite all of these issues, Kleinstuber did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to resolve.



Stay away from this place. Both John and Nancy's respectful, accommodating and courteous behavior ends once your check is cashed.
