I moved into Shangri La in the early 80s. Neighbors were decent at that time. The apartments went up on Mt Everest and the lady that ran the mobile home park argued who was responsible for cleaning the roads (they were never cleared in the Winter before). People started moving out and selling their mobile homes for next to nothing, and the trouble makers started moving in. One of the neighbors would go out and start shooting his gun off. Drugs were rampant. The apartments up the street were setting fires to dumpsters and the police started coming out but nothing really was ever done. We drove through there not long ago and it's just plain creepy. What homes they had left were falling down with people still living in them. Not sure if the police even bother with it anymore.
