My favorite At Home store! Has beautiful decor for a great price. Their holiday merchandise is definitely a favorite.

I bought the large 2010 Pooh and Tigger Trimming the Tree Inflatable Christmas decoration the store. When I got home to set up the item, it appeared to be defective. As I was setting the item up, I misplaced the receipt. I live at least 30 minutes from the store as there are limited locations in the St Louis area. I needed to ask a simple question regarding their exchange policy because i did not have the receipt so I called the store and found it to be IMPOSSIBLE to actually get a simple question answered because you can not speak directly to an associate of the store. I was not going to pack my family up for an hour road trip to revisit the store and have them tell me I could not exchange this because i lost the receipt . As my 3 year old daughter stood there crying because the Pooh and Tigger wouldn't stand up, I decided to call the local Lowe's. I was able to speak directly to an associate and ask if they had this item in stock.



End result, I drove to Lowe's and bought my daughter a new inflatable because I was actually able to speak directly to a human being.



I tossed this $80.00 item into the trash and chalked it up as a lesson learned. NEVER purchase anything from Garden Ridge again.



I know this is the age of technology, but come on what happened to customer service!!!!!!!!

I was unable to contact the store to see if they had battery powered wheelchairs so I could take my mom to the store to shop. I was not able to get a live person to ask a simple question. I would not send anyone to this store.
