At Washington Street, we simply want to be a church that belongs to Christ, nothing more, nothing less. That is, we seek to be non-denominational in nature with the Bible as our only guide. We believe it is the Word of God and our sole authority in matters of spirituality and life. The Bible teaches us that our greatest duty is to love God and to love our neighbor. To that end we assemble each Sunday to worship together and to grow in this relationship with God. Our worship assemblies are simple, but uplifting... inviting, but challenging and all are welcome. Throughout the week we challenge one another to live out this duty in service to others. The Bible further teaches that Jesus was and is the Son of God and that it is through Him we can have a full and abundant relationship with God.
